    It's to much helpful ,but sir where we use adaptive re-transmission and non-adaptive

    • @shaileshkaushik
      @shaileshkaushik  ปีที่แล้ว

      There are no non-adaptive transmissions in 5G.
      Non-adaptive can only happen in case HARQ is synchronous, so you know before hand which resources(FREQ-TIME domain) to use.
      In LTE UL retransmissions are synchronous , so non-adaptive CAN happen there (Adaptive can also happen).
      But in case of 5G, both UL and DL harq are asynchronous so there is no scope for non-adaptive transmissions.

    Thanks for sharing. Very interesting and clear. One question though, gNodeB (supporting 32 UEs and 2 UEs per TTI) can schedule upto how much HARQ bits of information in one TTI for multi UE scenario. Is there any formula to calculate and how does it change with the Pattern A and Pattern B

    • @shaileshkaushik
      @shaileshkaushik  ปีที่แล้ว

      As per 38.213, the max length od UCI field can be 1706 bits.. As much as I understand it there is no division if it could be HARQ cmpletely or if thee is any cap on HARQ within this length...
      I do not understand the question about pattern..

    At 11:18, interleave or channel coding jo bola he wo security k liye nahi hoti right. kyuki security k liye to encryption hota he. interleaver and channel coding ka purpose to alag he, right.

      depends on what you mean by security... All these methods are meant for the security of data.... When you say encryption ( Ciphering), you mean the security in a way that no one can access the data except sender and receiver, So in a way it is to maintain secrecy...
      whereas, channel coding etc are the methods that ensure that data transfer over the air happens without errors... here also you're securing the data.. it is like transporting a bone-china set with proper security... you need security so it does not break but it is not really controversial if it is sent in a transparent packaging (i.e. without ciphering).
      but if you are a 70s bollywood movie smuggler transporting cocaine... it may not need padded packaging, but you would not want everyone to see what is inside... so you would want to cipher here....
      So all these procedures are there for securing the data but different manner.
