I think question related at 39:50 is relevant, ACK/NACK is quite important for special cases. 1. ACK NACK received from RLC through 38.425 NRUP protocol (I think this handles the case of any loss of packets between CU and DU in split architecture) 2. PDCP Status Report - typically triggered during HO 3. Also it comes into picture for Dual connectivity cases
