I usually never replay games but this one I can’t not play it, the bosses to me were consistently good or top tier and the combat itself is too satisfying not to play it
Oh boy you're in for a fun ride. New game plus modes get better and better. The first play through is just a little kick. For sure nioh 2 is my favorite of all souls games. Have fun.
I'm half way through over 120 hours in👀 The combat is very good but I find the game is unfair & unforgiving. I'll finish it because I don't give up. The remaster on PS5 looks & plays great. Definitely team ninja's best I've played 👍🏼
Out of curiosity since I’m assuming you finished it now what would you consider unfair about it. I thought the game was balanced well but curious to hear another point of view
You respect your stats with "books of reincarnation"; certain missions will reward you with them, you can buy them from the blacksmith, you can trade sake to sudama for a random chance, or you can trade glory at the hidden teahouse.
sekiro and nioh 2 is my fav souls like of all time. i completed nioh 2 along with depth of the underworld and im replaying it again with yokai shift build😁 and u sir im glad u decided to play this game ur going to have a lot of fun guranteed idk why people dont play this gem.

The reason why this game is extremely hard with beginners is that you have to play it as diablo style not Elden Ring or soul-likes. Equipment in Nioh has stats which need to grind a lot to get good stuff to be stronger, then game will be ez. After 300 deaths at level 30 now I finally realize this fact :D

what’s crazy is that new ARPG’s still can’t get anywhere near this game. it really is lightning in a bottle and it has infinite replay value.

@@risingempires473 so I have not finished it. Unfair well the hit box is def not what it should be. Overall like I said before it's a solid game.
Have you tried other souls likes?
@mikgenta I've played just about every Souls-borne likes. Numerous playthroughs on fromsoft's. There's a few standouts ✌🏼
The fun starts in NG+ and above.

Bloodborne is on my top 3 list. Sekiro. Nioh 2 and bloodborne are 1A 1B and 1C in no particular order in my top 10.

2134 hours in this game tell you my opinion.. the game is just on its own unparalleled
2nd mission caused me to rage quit for 6 months.... went at it again ... now I'm handing out cans of whoop ass
