I can confirm it's a hockey movie. Better hockey than the Mighty Ducks by far (and maybe this year's Sharks). I think the only mistake was the tripping call right at the beginning. She hit the other girl's stick, clean play.
Pixar has been the best at keeping all audiences engaged. Not all of their movies land but they certainly have the best track record. Other production houses had me looking at my watch at some point during their offering. Back when we had kid's who dragged us into these selections. To this point, my wife and I saw IO2 by choice. We enjoyed it and were also pleasantly surprised with the hockey themed secondary storyline. We saw the original which is why we went in on this one again.
It’s been a few years, but for Disneyland dining, I enjoy Blue Bayou (inside Pirates Of The Caribbean) if just for the setting. However far in advance you can make reservations, make them because there’s a wait.

We went there last summer. It was very nice. This year we're going to try the lamplight lounge
