Camping car parks in France need a card for barrier cost one if fee £ 5 sites about 12 euros a night with lectric them worked brill for us happy holidays both

We don't mind so much paying for dogs on campsites as long as something is provided like a dog walk or poo bins.But when campsite are providing nothing then we begrudge paying.

Rob is correct dashcams are legal in Spain and France for private use but if you have an accident you are not allowed to upload it to social media.

Haven’t got a clue how to find out how much the French toll roads cost. But I do know the costs can add up really quick. I used the toll roads from Dieppe to Le Mans and back to Caan (around 260 miles round trip) back in June for the annual trip to the 24 hour race and the total came to just over £90. I’d say only about 3/4 of the trip was on toll roads, they do get you from A to B quickly, but at a cost!
The biggest problem is at the toll booths, not all are manned and the auto ones are designed either for a car or a truck not for a MoHo. So you either have to stretch up or reach down to pay. I got a tag for the windscreen so I can use the fast track drive through lane (can’t remember if it was via the Caravan &Motorhome club or the Camping & Caravan club) it’s quicker and easier saving the hassle, but you get the surprise later when the bill arrives!

Great vlog as always both, we don’t mind paying for dogs if the facilities for dogs are good, lots or dog bins and a reasonable clean walk. However, if no or few bins and no or crap walk defiantly not a fair charge. Thanks, Tony and Julie

Some European counties prohibit use of sat navs for speed cameras and the function must be disabled. There is a country that does not allow dash cams - Bob Earnshaw some time ago. That would be a problem for myself as mine is a sat nav and dash cam in one. There is a site that provides costs for toll roads. A spare set of glasses is mandatory in Spain and I don't mean a spare gin glass Rob

Get the crit air early ours took about 4 weeks to come also I’m sure it doesn’t start until 2023 when it becomes law but for a few euros we got ours cheaper than the 100 euro fines ,happy holidays both 👍🏻

Hi Roband Lynn, another entertaining vlog like you we love Shropshire, I have to agree I don't agree with sites charging for dogs, pitches are getting very expensive which has made us look more to cl s as we always use our own facilities even on club sites. Have you tried Costco? we get Pepsi max sugar free coke, it's about 90p for 8 2 ltr bottles so a good saving on supermarkets. Looking forward to your trip abroad as its something we would love to try, I have an old mate who lives in France and has offered us a spot on his land to stay, we also have a cocker so the procedure of getting him sorted would be interesting. Sorry If you programme your satnav to avoid tolls it will allow you to use national roads and non paying toll roads.
