This is something revolutionary imo. 40bhp is something that's considered respectable globally and now Indians could own it for such low price even after all of the insane tax increase on automobile by the government.

Single piece grab rail is only there for performing stunts otherwise it comes with same grab rails as 200ns. Surprisingly looking good with them.
The bike that is used in the launch event has a split grab rail, while the display unit has a normal grab rail.....point to be ✅️

A very very very very very very............very ugly looking exposed rear swingarm. The entire Pulsar series looked the worst due to it. C'mon Bajaj, develop atleast a better looking swingarm like on the Aprilia 457 that isn't even made of alluminium. Go to your parts bin and take the swingarm of the previous gen Dukes instead.

Yes, definitely! It’s a 58 or 60 teeth sprocket in my opinion. Was used for the stunt show. Same reason why it has a single piece grab rail too.

No, so that grab rail was for the stunt show bikes that you see here. The production bike has a split grab rail. 😊

Nicely sums it up as always.
1) since KTM has phased out 373 cc, Bajaj true to its core going to milk it to the core. Consumers are gaining in the end with these strategy bringing best price to performance ratio bikes. Any idea about tuning. Bajaj should go crazy with tuning since they have ride by wire to play with. Bring back BS3 D390 tuning with track mode.
2) what’s the scoop with Z? Are they bring other iterations such as RS400 or something to rival Himalayan? Or they are going retro way?
3)with skinny tyre (140 instead of 130) and less weight,agile chassis and hopefully aggressive tuning, it will be fun to ride.
4)when’s the review going live?

So the KTM engine anyway gave birth to the Dominar motor. And this one, therefore is very similar in hardware to the Dominar. Tuning is different tho, so is gearing. Will touch upon it in the road test review, which goes live on May 11. Yes, there are more variants coming too!

No no. It’s a 58 or 60 teeth I’m guessing. That was for the stunt show only. Stock bike has a much smaller sprocket.

that is only for this stunt bike. Stock bike will have a bigger sprocket than Dominar 400

You are WRONG This Engine is Not Similar to the Outgoing KTM Duke 390, The current Duke 390 Has a 399cc Updated LCEngine. This Engine is similar to the Dominar or Previous Gen KTM Duke 390's.
I think they have learnt from their mistakes - dominaar/duke/husky and speed400 - all were similar packages but missed on one thing or another, now this is their final attempt to use whatever they have in a VFM package as Pulsar 400, though they could have used full 400 cc instead of their old 373cc one, now RE still has its hunter dapper at 1,7Lakh that does 15000 per month, this should take away those customers but only time can tell.. Hunter vs ns 400 video should be a good one even though both are very very different but both are VFM so...

Many good items but disappointed with engine cc, power, torque, top speed, design, console design, underbelly pan, grab rail.
Good they chose to use the Z at the end to avoid polluting the NS and RS badge.
Take 50k more and get a better designed NS and RS for Pulsar enthusiasts to brag about. 😢😢😢
