The hue that enraptures me is amethyst. While it is not nearly as ubiquitous as other colours, such as the multitudinous tones of azure that stains the skies and seas, or swathes of verdant emerald plants, the versatility of purple is what allures to me. It could be a pop of vibrancy in a deluge of gloomy shades, or a tinge of austere violet in an expanse of brilliant pigments. In my opinion, even the most callowly drawn pictures can be salvaged with the addition of this wondrous colour to their palette.
