Installing Hyper-V Role on Server 2012 1. At PowerShell prompt, type the following command and press Enter: DISM /online /enable-feature /featurename:Microsoft-Hyper-V 3. The system installs the Hyper-V role and prompts you to restart the server. 4. Press Y. The system restarts. 5. After restart, log back into the computer and open the server manager. The Server Manager console should open. 6. In the Server Manager console, select Manage > Add Roles and Features. 7. Click Next. 8. Leave the Role-based or feature-based installation radio button selected and click Next. 9. Click Next to accept the default local server. 10. Click Next. The Select features page appears. 11. On Features page click on the arrow to expand the Remote Server Administration Tools and then click on the arrow to expand the Role Administration Tools and only select the Hyper-V Management Tools checkbox. 12. Click Next. The Confirm installation, and then click on Install. After installation finished, click Close. 13. Click on Start menu and click on the down arrow to see all apps. then, you should be able to see the Hyper-V Management icon. you can right click to pin it to start menu.
