Very fun game ! That early game strategy is awesome, Sighji play that game like typical underdog story. Started weak and got bullied. Doing the training arc and get stronger (Economy), makes some friends along the way (Embassies). After all that he then overpowered the enemy. The fact that only he use the skin! , He is MC since the beginning lol.
@@polychampionsin order for the bottom 3 corners tovget the lighthouse they wouldve had to get deep into the water but for some reason it was connected to pangea on top
Cool to watch, I play it a lot on my phone. I've done similar with 1 city, going philosophy + diplomacy, only I was isolated and didn't had the chance for 2 islands, and after turn 20 or so, I had a lot of tech but died. But Oumaji I find hard to play, they're weak. Normally I go for Ai-Mo + Alter of Peace or Elyrion + Polytaurs. So I like weird tactics.
I thought you could only get 1 embassy. Thats good to know. Nice trick. Losing your 2 horsey horses at the beginning allowed you to see the winning play. I doubt anybody had experience with this type of game as well, turtle up seems so obvious. Btw how is there only 8 players and not 9?
Yup. You can have as many embassies as you have other players in game as long as you aren't at war with them We had an 8 player FFA because that's how many people were interested in playing that day. We often do live streams and invite who ever is in the chat to come play
wow - power of the TURTLE !! impressive results. 🐢🦖🐢🦖🐢🦖🐢🦖 Turtle to T-Rex transformation !! I've just starting learning about using treaties and embassies. But my aggressive style with neighbors is such that then almost no one wants a treaty. Against bots one can end up wiping them out, but you don't get the high point values on perfection. Enjoyed how much tech you were getting since only one city. I gotta learn some 'turtling' and start getting *s from the embassies. Wonderful match to watch. th-cam.com/users/sgaming/emoji/7ff574f2/emoji_u1f422.png
If you're on a small map, try spamming and pushing your units with polytaurs, to pressure your opponents. If you're playing on a larger map, try growing your economy as early as possible by finding great sanctuary spots and farms.
Definitely super fun game! Thanks for letting me be a part of it!
Of course. Thank you for talking us through the game!

Yup. Makes a great come back story
Oh wow never knew how he popped out so many giants so quickly, the unit movement is amazjng
Yeah. So many giants. :)
very good game! he played oumaji but never played like a oumaji 😂 love it
Thanks. Glad you enjoyed it
*Casually funds the genocide of his neighbours early game* "So... yeah..."
That's what Polytopia is all about
Thats me! I also just realized that pangea nerfed corner spawns
Yeah. Not so much lighthouse spawns with Pangea

Yeah, Oumaji is not a strong tribe for the philosophy+ diplomacy approach. It works here because everyone was playing Oumaji
@@polychampionsit’s fun to watch, also rare. So you win on tactics, not on having a better tribe.
Love this game 😍
Thank you!

These are the best games, starting as the weakest and just binding your time, and then snowballing into the strongest lol.
Yeah. So satisfying when the underdog sticks it out and then wins
Nice video! Who's that super cool pink Oumaji player?
That pink Oumaji is one of the coolest Polytopia players on the square ;)
Thanks for being a good sport

Yeah. This game is the perfect example of the power of turtling down. Playing with bots is so different than humans.
@@polychampions Thanks - I'm still a little game shy. for open multigame. Working on that too. LOL
Please make a guide for elyrion! I can't beat almost anyone with this tribe
Thanks for the feedback. We have an Ai-Mo guide planned next. An Elyrion guide is a good idea.
