RIDING IN HEAVY RAIN | KAWASAKI NINJA 400 | TRACK DAY #4

This was my first track day in the rain, and the rain was not subtle. I did five sessions and all five were filled with downpour, leaving very little grip on track. My tires are DOT approved, so they can handle mixed conditions, but they are not meant for that.
I felt like I was moving in slow-motion throughout most of the track compared to the other two times I was at this track in dry conditions, but my lack of confidence with the grip of the tires and inexperience with track riding in wet conditions made me take a lot of the corners with caution.
All in all, this was a good learning experience and it really taught me how to manage the throttle in wet conditions and the importance of being smooth with every input on the bike.
