I got a branch from a couple neighbors. I believe they are Celeste. But hers are an amber color in the middle. Or do Celeste have reddish interior? At any rate they are one of my favorites because I reared them myself. Quit fond of them

Lou doesnt celeste drop its figs the first few years?

No, not the main crop in my experience. There is some common confusion since Celeste often forms a Breba crop on last years wood that will almost always drop off to the fig. A small number will sometimes ripen, but rarely.
