I'ts my favourite band since they released their first album - I'm always surprised how clear and exactly Guy sings. He looks like a pub owner who throws out drunken guests with a deep determinant voice but he sings like an angel :) - and i think he even improved his live singing during the years. Awesome and balsam to the ears.
Something happened to me when I first heard this song. The depth of his lyrics, voice and execution are perfect, few songs make me feel them deeply and this is one of them.
I adore the lyrics to this song. 'This is where the bottle lands', sounds like an innocuous line, but it shows that someone simply discarded this bottle after it served its purpose as a vessel for some kind of liquid, likely booze. The tide has worn it down into a beautiful, soft piece of glass. This little girl finds it and finds such beauty in it, and for her it represents everything (good) she expects the world to be. It's about how a child has the ability to see beauty in the little things, even in the rubbish discarded by jaded adults. Absolutely astonishing.

Hard to see they're still a band not that known but mostly in UK where actually are the most greatest bands in the world, luckily they've played in Mexico and we are really look forward to watch them live soon again; my very fave band since some years ago!!!! 😉

To see them play this song,New York morning, mirrorball where they lit the room up with a mirrorball, grounds for divorce, obviously one day like this was amazing. They also played 2 songs from my childhood that I loved but never knew it was elbow: station approach and leaders of a free world. I can’t put into words TDS how much that night completed me. Guy did the repeat after me before and during grounds for divorce. I can’t say anything bad about them.
