This bike produces 30Nm torque right at 3000rpm and remains same till 5k rpm. From 5000 to 5500 rmp it makes about 34-35Nm torque. Almost same torque at 6000rmp too. Makes another 2.5 at 6500rpm. Now if you don't want vibrations but want max torque of 34, shift gears at 5500rpm. But if you are happy with 30Nm, you can shift gears right at 3000rpm, same torque till 5000rpm. But you'll get better mileage shifting at 3000rpm rather than pushing till 5000rpm. Between 5000 and 6000rpm you will get benefit of extra 5Nm torque only. At 6500 you'll get the full 37.5Nm torque. But vibrations will start at 6000rpm. So if you want decent power of 30nm torque, you can shift gears between 3000 to 5000rpm. At 5000rpm, you'll get about 22bhp power and 39bhp at 8000rmp. Go beyond 6000rpm only in 6th gear, only on open roads, you'll get lesser vibrations. Shifting between 3 and 5k rpm will give better mileage and 30nm torque also. You decide how to use the power and petrol, 😀 happy riding 😎

Personally, none of your negative point made any sense and all of the negative point are subjective except perhaps accesories. Right now Accessories are available right away as I have just received My Bike and I received the accessories on the same day pre fitted
Agar 110 par bhi thodi vibrations nahin hongi to highway par apne ko to neend aa jayegi 🙂 Top plate aur saddle stay laga loge to phir peeche se bhi acchi lage gi. I have received delivery of my Speed 400, I am very happy with its exhaust note and overall performance. I have no issues and love the bike. My bike has MRF tyres which are giving good performance. Mast bike hai.... go for it. Garm to hogi 400 cc hai.

Average 25 ho ya 30... bike li hai maje ke liye. Kya fark padta hai agar tank full pe Rs.250 jyada kharch ho gaye. Average chahiye to Splendor theek hai 🙂 Waise average is approx 30 only. After 1st service improve hoga aur heating bhi kam hogi

When you explain about vibrations, you should always mention the rpm and the gear at which the vibrations start, not just the speed, like 100 or 120. Like vibrations start at 6000rpm, on 5th gear if we push to 6000 the vibrations might be more than the same 6000rpm in 6th gear. If we push 6000rpm in 4th gear, the vibes might be even more. The 37bhp comes at 6500rpm in any gear but because of vibes we might change gears at 5000rpm itself, which means we will never experience the full 37bhp at all. This info is more important. It's a different matter that in city limits we will never need that much BHP, but then that way speaking, we don't need a 400cc either. So please always mention the rpm when you talk about vibrations.
We can't see RPM clearly in Speed 400's console while riding. But your point is very important. Thank you.

दोस्त हमने भी आप ही के दोदिन बाद बाइक ली थी, सब कुछ ठीक है पर पैसे एडवांस देने के बावजूद बाइक की ऐसेसरीज का कोई अता पता नही है.
ट्रायंप मैनेजर अभिषेक ने नारायणा शो रूम पर एक हफ्ते बाद देने के लिए कहा . पर आज तक कुछ अता पता नहीं है. शोरूम वाले कहते हैं कि एक महीने बाद आएंगे. वो एक महीना कब आएगा पता नहीं.
Lagta hai October mein Scrambler ki launch ke baad hi accessories showrooms mein pahuchengi. Lets hope Zana Motors ya koi aur manufacturer bhi jaldi kuch accessories Speed 400 ki bana le.

Negative points toh jyaada tar nitpicking hai, major negative nai lag rahaa.
1. Charging ka jaisa hai, waisa hi sahi lagta hai mujhe. Bewajah battery drain naa hone ke liye.
2. Build quality ka bhi minor issue lagaa.
3. Tyre hugger such mein dena chahiye tha kyuki keechad rokne mein sirf mudguard kaafi nahi, specially pillion ke liye.
4. Yeh bike low end aur mid range ke liye bani hai. Agar aapko top end chahiye, toh sproketing change karke ho jaayega, par low end thoda sacrifice karni padegi.
5. Accesories ka main bhi thoda disappoint hua. Mujhe jaan na tha dual end can aur single waale mein kya aur kitna sound difference aata hai. Par hai hi nai. Aaj try kiya tha showroom ko call karne ko, par uthaaye nahi.

@@sandeepsam84 No idea, mate. Technically the Duke tyre hugger should fit, but need to check as the chain configuration is different on the Speed 400. I'm still waiting for delivery.

I would like to share my personal experience with Speed Motocorp Kolkata Triumph showroom. The dealership is pathetic and have no decency whatsoever. Triumph India's biggest problem at the moment might be their terrible dealer network and they would have been better off offering this brilliant product through Bajaj dealerships.
On a personal note I had no option while purchasing this but people near Kolkata do make sure to purchase from OSL Triumph who have recently opened up for their reputation is much better.

Bindaas chala. Just don't redline it. So keep RPMs below 8-8.5k on any gear. On 6th gear, that translates to approx 140 kmph. So don't worry abt run in.

KTM 390 adventure is a better tourer. Dominar is also a tourer bike not cruiser. Jiseke paas dominar already hai uske liye good choice is to stick with Dominar but new bike purchase karni ho to Speed ki scrambler bhi consider karni chahiye. Dominar 5 years old ho gayi hai.

the tail light has to be shaky, i remember a service guy at a bike service centre explaining it when complained. something about crash safety, vibration and shock absorption. not sure about back of the front fender but could be the same reason.

Continental gt aur speed 400 mein confuse ho gaya hoon
Totally different bikes. Continental/Interceptor are not at all comfortable for city as it is very heavy bike. Speed400 is an all rounder. It is comfortable everywhere. The only positive in RE650 twins is the performance and refinement above 120 kmph. Other than that, speed400 is a more practical choice.
