    I loved the CB300R looks and was looking forward to buy this but has been hesitant to buy as I already own a 84 Royal Enfield, 88 Rx100, 88 Yezdi CL2 and Yamaha Fz16 2013 model (all of them in pristine condition)... I wanted to give away my Fz16 to a friend in need and buy CB300R, so went for test ride today and found it to be powerful and aggresive, however the seat is as hard as a piece of wood and the riding posture also aggressive, such that I need to stretch out my hand completely (not relaxed), I'm 5'9! Eventually dropped the plan to buy it :( as I prefer comfort over anything!

    Engine Honda
    Built quality triumph
    Resale : triumph as it is attracting more crowed
    300r still feels 25-30k overpriced for it’s fit and finish.
    Did a test ride on both
    Honda-Nimble, fun, best for metro traffic condition, reliable, refined
    Triumph-good for city and longer rides too, better tyres. Linear power,
    Check your requirements: if you will ride in city and weekend long rides with pillion go for triumph.
    You wanna enjoy solo, have some blast reach somewhere faster improve riding skills. Cb300r.
    My pick Honda as I loved the engine.

    I currently have a 200NS and I had ridden CB 300R extensively. Honestly speaking, I don't find CB 300R as an upgrade over 200NS in terms of performance or big bike feel. CB300R is short geared and so it makes you searching for an additional gear during high speed highway runs. Also, the bike feels so light during those high speed runs and doesn't inspire much confidence. Build quality and quality levels wise also Triumph beats the little Honda left, right and centre.So I definitely feel Triumph Speed 400 will be the definite upgrade for me in terms of performance, big bike feel, quality of materials, fit and finish and stress free highway runs. Also, there's a big problem with Honda with Spare parts supply for these Bigwing bikes..

    • @ibcluelegal9248
      @ibcluelegal9248 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

      you are comparing 200ns with cb300r😂What do you smoke in your free time? One would not choose that unreliable cheap plastic piece over a splendor. 10nm and 8ps is the difference in pure torque and power. That is as much difference in numbers as a 100cc bike and yours. The weight of a 200ns is around 10 kgs more than that of a cb300r. The part quality difference is immense. The damn brake calliper on the Honda cost and work more than the whole braking setup of the clunk that you have. The sad bit is, because Bajaj has its hands in the Triumph pie, the reliability of the bike and the buzzy nature of the engine is as bad as a Bajaj. Also, the number of big wing showrooms and service stations is more than Triumph as of today. The horror stories of Triumph are another gripe. If you want a big bike feel, go for an RE mate. Sports bikes are meant to be light and not all over the place like a Pulsar.

    • @prabhu9189

      @@ibcluelegal9248 I am not a smoker. Maybe you smoke weed. I had wrote what I experienced after riding 300R and I feel it's overrated simply because it comes from Honda. Also, my own 200NS goes past one lakh kilometres without it's engine being still untouched. So, I will take Honda reliability with a bucket load of salt. Today almost all makes are reliable. Triumph Speed 400 will anyday smoke 300R, be it performance, fit and finish and power. Peace.

    • @ibcluelegal9248
      @ibcluelegal9248 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      @@prabhu9189 why I consider you to be a weed guy is because you are searching for big bike feel on a heavy moped called 200ns which is a naked meant to be light and nimble by definition. That vibrating autorickshaw takes twice as long to reach 100 as compared to the butter smooth cb300. It has "crossed one lakh kilometres without its engine being untouched" means that it has its engine repaired. Check what your sentence means at least before posting it. A speed 400 which Triumph does not even recognise in its portfolio would probably smoke the cb300 to a service guy. The practical numbers don't lie. It was never meant to feel big, it was meant to feel agile. By the way, the term overrated also does not apply since it is a global favourite and not just in India. All modern day bikes are reliable is a phrase you should probably talk about to with the loads of guys trying to sell their glunk KTMs on OLX thanks to Bajaj ruining the quality.
