Very interesting medals! WW1 isn’t really my main area of collecting but it’s still really nice to see these medals. If one come up for the right price in the future, I’d probably want to add it to my collection haha
Thanks yeh i have my relatives ww1 medals but I just wanted a set of court mounted ones and I bought them before the prices shot up with the centenary 😊😊

Nice set of WWI medals. I do have a single War Medal issued to some RN sailor and a Victory Medal, minus it's ribbon. I also have a British Red Cross War Service medal which was given to nurses who worked in military hospitals. I might get a ribbon and perhaps put them into a little WWI display frame, along with a Empirical Service badge that I have. Then again, I may not..!!
Yeh that would look good. I've thought about framing old medals plus a generic photo and some other bits...I do wonder however how much of this has already been done over the years to up the price of an item 🤔🤔🤔, cheers Al
Very nice medals. I must admit I'm a lot like you when it comes to collecting, I've got all sorts of things from different time periods, more or less the same as yourself. It's all history, that's the way I look at it.

Cheers Chris....yes they are nice...the bayonet etc in the background isn't what you think 🤔 ....its a repro belt but the bayonet is an Italian copy. The bayonet was sold to me by a dealer as an M1. When I got it I complained and they basically gave me 25% off my next purchase as they had made a mistake 🤔🤔🤔. Fair enough, so I kept it and I've used the 25,% . I have bought from them since but you know what dealers are like🙂🙂🙂🤣

very nice medals, I like the patina on them not to shiny looking. looks like a M1 rifle bayonet at the back on a pistol belt.
