No matter how many times I watch your videos ( new and old) and la-la-la-laaoooovee your inspo, I get so choked up at the end! I think we all need to hear that from time to time! Thank you Kathryn, you are such and amazing woman!
Hi Kathryn, My vote is stumps. You can always change the legs to be higher if You find it's too short for your needs. Thanks for the ideas as always (:
I love the new high end finds and ideas! I really appreciate the ideas! I really love when you compile the cheap ideas into one short video. Kind of like a reminder video for all of those little hacks that are from way back when, but I can’t remember, lol. I have been watching you for years! I think I was watching long before your second baby was born. Maybe if you could do high end videos separately from the with cheap idea videos! That denim dress was so cute on you!
Great pieces! I prefer the little table with wooden legs, but I love wood. Thanks & blessings to the gentleman who save the trees from wasting in landfills. So much can be done with them! These are beautuful!😊
For just $20, I bought a slab of live-edged maple. I bought a wall cabinet, will add casters to the bottom and the maple on top. I am making my own kitchen island. It is a tiny kitchen, so this gives extra storage and can be rolled out of the way when necessary, or even moved to use as a serving cart. I bought butcher block oil to give the wood a food-safe surface.
High from Utah! I totally love the hairpin legs. And right after I’m finished here on TH-cam I’m headed to FB Marketplace to see what I can’t live without!
Oh my gosh Kathryn, I would accept just 1% of your energy 😁 The piano stencils are gorgeous, something I would have NEVER thought of 😎I like both repurposed wood tables but that stump one is so different, I think I'd say it was my #1 fav. 💕🥰 I have not bought off of Marketplace but I have sold (for free) a few items. We're trying to purge our home so I'm not in the market for more "stuff", but I will remember to check them out if/when I'm ready to change-out what I have 😋I just love you so much and am thrilled that we'll one day meet, and be together forever ✝
We moved to Phoenix during the pandemic. We were completely shocked when we went to a Goodwill store here. The prices are outrageous! Not to mention the fact that their sorters are letting clothing items hit the floor with terrible stains, rips, and sometimes even with parts of the fabric cut out. I just don't go any more. Even the local Habitat for Humanity stores have high prices. Some things are reasonable, but mostly things are priced around 25-40% off full retail prices. It's very discouraging when you don't have a lot of money to spend on necessities.
Hi from Missouri! Yes, our thrift store prices have definitely increased! Habitat for Humanity's prices increased, but are not as bad, so we thrift there. My son's inlaws just bought a brand new dryer for $50 from Facebook Marketplace just today.
The habitat for humanity here has skyrocketed in price. I use to love shopping there. Now they sell pieces very close if not exactly retail price. It's ridiculous.
Hello from Maryland. I like Stump. I plan to try my hand at making a few as plant tables for my porch. Hopefully, my will turn out as nice as yours. Thank you for all your sweet words of encouragement. You are so sweet.❤
I like the stump but really both are fabulous. The project reminded me of the book The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. I can’t even read that book without crying 😢
My favorite is the wood stump with the hairpin legs. The table that you bleached is my favorite of all though ❤. Your so creative!! Thanks for sharing your Creations.
I think both tables look great, different but great. Facebook is good sores, but around here, you have to be really quick to be first. You also need to stay aware of scams, because there are a lot of them. Thrift stores have gotten so high on things that you can sometimes find it online new for the same or less. Another great video, Kathryn. Thanks for sharing your time and talents with me! 💜
I love thrift stores and repurposing stuff. Love your ideas keep bringing them. Unfortunately some people are on a budget and can’t afford the higher end of things, so this makes it affordable.
Hi Kathryn. You make the upgrades seem so easy, so that’s motivating! 😊The decoupage piece was very pretty. As for the side tables, i love the stumps actually! And Copper is a sweetheart! 🐕🤗
I love thrift stores. Like you said they are getting pricey. I have purchased items off of Facebook market place for years. I love the end tables. I just love natural wood look. I like both of them. Thanks and may you have a Blessed day.
Hello from Cincinnati. Yes thrift store prices have went up here too. I was always a bit afraid to buy from FB market place but when I finally made my first purchase I was addicted. I found a writing desk. The couple had it for years but I don’t think they ever used it. Honestly it’s the nicest piece of furniture I have.
Love, love, love your videos. I discovered you when a friend showed me your chunky blanket video last winter, Now I can't wait for a new video. I choose the bleached side table and the stumpy table. Thanks for all of your fun ideas. I have purchased a wicker headboard from Facebook marketplace and we have also sold items too.
I absolutely love all three projects!! 💙 But my heart pulls me to the live edge wood table!! I need to do that!! And I prefer the stilt legs. They're like the ones on the two-tiered end table I have next to me that belonged to my Grandmama and Granddaddy!!!💙💙💙
Yes thrift stores (Goodwill being the main one) has increased so much! They price things higher than what I can get it for brand new!! I swore them off a few years ago! Gorgeous pieces !!! I vote stumps!!! TFS!!❤
Love them both, but the stumps would be my first choice. The thrift stores around here have gotten very expensive, especially the goodwill. Right now, I am sitting on a wonderful couch that was free on Marketplace. We have even gotten free building materials such as ceramic tile, plywood, new flooring, etc. Yardsales and marketplace have been our go to lately
Love the thrifted buffet! The decoupage on doors is gorgeous! The dollar tree knobs are adorable, but I feel like it would look more high end if you use brass ones. 😊
Just found your channel and LOVE your kitchen! I agree with your opinion about granite. Not a fan either. Love your excitement and gratitude for how God has blessed you and your family. I’ll continue to watch! ❤
I like the stump table but mostly because I really like the black legs with the tones of the wood. One warning I have is always ask if the item has any fabric has it ever been stored outside. A friend gave us a beautiful rug she had store in her garage. The next Spring we had an infestation of cloth moths. It took me over a year of traps, steam washing all my rugs and bagging all the clothes in space bags to air seal to kill them off. We still see an occasional one and we all jump up to kill it. Yes I lost several very nice sweaters before we realized what they were. 😢
I genuinely love all of these projects. Thanks for sharing. If I had to choose between stumps and stilts I think I would choose stumps but both are beautiful.
I lived in Kansas for most of my life and I found so many inexpensive items that have been so worth buying! I've even used FB marketplace to sell items when I moved to South Dakota a cpl of yrs ago! ❤😊❤
I'm from Rockford, IL. I've gotten beautiful sturdy bookshelves, gorgeous area rugs, super high end ones. I've also gotten a recliner, leather chair and a dining set!!! Only way I could afford to shop for new furniture.💜😏
I agree, I feel like Thrift stores took advantage of the fact that they got to be open during COVID-19 and jacked all their prices back up and they haven't dropped down. We have Goodwill stores, Salvation Army stores and Maj-R-Thrift and all 3 of them have raised clothing prices by $1-3 for most items and rarely have decent discount days. Even when they have excess inventory. Plus they are watching for high end brands and those items now start at 9.99 and go up. Rarely find "gold mine" anymore and usually still have to launder, clean or repair things. I love FB marketplace. We also have several buy, sell, trade sites and a cpl of $1 start auction sites. Love both tables
I love all of your Facebook Market Place finds, but my favorite is your deco podge beaty!❤Beaty! I love both of your tables! As always, Kathryn, thank you for sharing all of your hard work, creativity, talent, and inspiration! Stay safe, healthy, and positive! God bless you and your family!🙏❤️🇺🇸😊
FB Marketplace in Australia is a great place for pre-loved goods as well Kathryn. We purchased a chocolate brown bed head (near new) for only $50, which in the shops would have been well over $200. Such a great find! 🤗🤩
Yes, I've noticed all the prices going up BIG TIME at all my thrift stores. All the items are donated, I think they're just taking advantage of clever people like u who can re-do things! It's a bummer tho, cause finding the "hidden gems" at low cost was 1/2 the fun! Great projects in this video, the buffet was my favorite!
Arkansas/Mississippi/Missouri for our new home build....All my doors inside and exterior. All my ceiling fans Most of my lights & switches Sinks/faucets Bookshelves for linear pantry storage More but who knows!!
Stumps all the way! Facebook marketplace is also good for exercise equipment. I bought my recumbent bike there. I live in upstate NY at the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains!
Kathryn 3,2,1, and both legs are good but the metal black is more modern so gets my vote. So true secondhand shops are getting more expensive. So easier to buy new stuff and cheaper or make it like you did. Thank you for your ideas love them all really.🫂👏👌
I like "stumps"! Thank you Kathryn!
I love the piano 😊😊😊
The gold transfers and doors were my favorite.
No matter how many times I watch your videos ( new and old) and la-la-la-laaoooovee your inspo, I get so choked up at the end! I think we all need to hear that from time to time! Thank you Kathryn, you are such and amazing woman!
🤗
My vote is stump. I just like the hair pin legs, it really sets it off, showcases the wood top.😊
I bet he was kinda hitting on you, too. What? Like that's the worst thing you have heard online, and I am teasing.
Hi Kathryn, My vote is stumps. You can always change the legs to be higher if You find it's too short for your needs. Thanks for the ideas as always (:
I love her inspiration and positivity absolutely a bit of a tearjerker too.pass the tissue please . Thank you kathryn❤

oh I love that idea! Kitchen Islands on casters is the way to go!
My vote is for STUMP, STUMP, STUMP!! I LOVE IT!! Love you Kathryn!! ❤
The piano! It’s so lovely
High from Utah! I totally love the hairpin legs. And right after I’m finished here on TH-cam I’m headed to FB Marketplace to see what I can’t live without!
The piano is definitely my favorite & I prefer the stumps
I love the bleached wood table!
I love both tables , but I love the mid century modern legs.
Wow what a great transformation of all three items. Bravo!
Wow that mod podge beauty is my fave ❤I like the shorter stump table with the metal legs! Thank you because YOU are enough 🥰

We don't shop at Goodwill very often anymore due to the prices.
The cabinet with the decoupaged doors is my favorite!
I absolutely love these ideas!!! Thank you Kathryn!!!
Metal legs with natural wood , every time for me!
I live in northeast Ohio in a rural area. I've purchased many things on Facebook Marketplace. I love it!
Team Stumps! I really love the tip about applying bleach onto wood. Opens up all sorts of possibilities!
Hi from Missouri! Yes, our thrift store prices have definitely increased! Habitat for Humanity's prices increased, but are not as bad, so we thrift there. My son's inlaws just bought a brand new dryer for $50 from Facebook Marketplace just today.

Sweetheart Kathryn, wow , you are amazing. God bless you.
Unbelievable pieces, and how you transformed it.
Thanks for sharing.
🥰🙏👍❤️👏🌟⭐️✝️✨💫
Hello from Maryland. I like Stump. I plan to try my hand at making a few as plant tables for my porch. Hopefully, my will turn out as nice as yours.
Thank you for all your sweet words of encouragement. You are so sweet.❤
I loooove the decoupage cabinet.
The sidetable and the hairpin legs were gorgeous!❤🙏🏾
I like the stump but really both are fabulous. The project reminded me of the book The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. I can’t even read that book without crying 😢
oh my goodness same!

your time and talents with me! 💜
Great use of the tree pieces. Blessings 😊 🙏
I am totally team stump. As a MCM choice I prefer the hairpin legs. And I totally love the piano and sideboard make over.
Yess I'm living for these videos thank you Kathryn 😊 ❤🎉 you are making my 2024 start so good!!Keep them coming!
The piano is my favorite, the transfers look original!
All great flips! Definitely prefer the hair pin legs.adds a modern touch.

Thank you Kathryn ❤
My favorite is the decoupage cabinet. 😊
Team stumps!
Would be adorable with even shorter legs and sitting as a rider on a fireplace
I love thrift stores. Like you said they are getting pricey.
I have purchased items off of Facebook market place for years.
I love the end tables. I just love natural wood look. I like both of them.
Thanks and may you have a Blessed day.
The two little side tables are beautiful.👍🥰
All the pieces look great, but the piano is a WOW!

Everything came out so nice Kathryn, but I like the hutch the most!!! I liked the pice of wood with the metal legs!
I like the "stump" table best!
Yes thrift stores (Goodwill being the main one) has increased so much! They price things higher than what I can get it for brand new!! I swore them off a few years ago!
Gorgeous pieces !!! I vote stumps!!!
TFS!!❤

Love the thrifted buffet! The decoupage on doors is gorgeous! The dollar tree knobs are adorable, but I feel like it would look more high end if you use brass ones. 😊
I agree. I feel the silver doesn't match the warm tone of the rest of the piece.
I like both. Hard to choose. Both are beautiful. 😊
Great pieces. I especially loved the buffet (hutch).
STUMPS!! Awesome job on all of the furniture. I can't choose. I like them all!
Stump is my choice!! Super cute projects. ☺️
All four pieces are gorgeous. Tyfs. You make me smile 😎💙

I'm so loving the bleached wood. Wow what a great transformation!! Thanks so much for your inspirations.
I love them both it depends what you’re putting them beside. 💝🥰
I love "Stumps"! I also loved her rendition of "Scrubs" 😂😂
I made a stumps with a wood round from lowes and used dollar tree paper towel holders to mimic hairpin legs
So many cool ideas. Thanks for sharing.
God bless you and your family. 🙇♀️🫂
I like stumps for sure! And I think that the piano looks the best.
I love the stumps best - a handy little table x
I haven't been on Facebook for years. Guess I'll just go to thrift stores. I love what you did with piano! I like metal legs more.
Stilts for the win !!! The stumps are pretty but my favorite is stilts.
I'm from Rockford, IL. I've gotten beautiful sturdy bookshelves, gorgeous area rugs, super high end ones. I've also gotten a recliner, leather chair and a dining set!!! Only way I could afford to shop for new furniture.💜😏
Leslie is hilarious! I love her song!
Beautiful transformations without hreaking the bank! My favorite table is stumps! ❤

I like them both! Great job ladies🥰
My favorite was the decoupaged buffet with glass knobs!
Stumps all the way! Facebook marketplace is also good for exercise equipment. I bought my recumbent bike there. I live in upstate NY at the foothills of the beautiful Adirondack Mountains!
Stumps!! Thanks for sharing.
Hair pin legs. I love the mix of wood and metal.
Hair pin legs! ❤ sweet little table!
Definitely LOVE the hairpin legs!!! All of these projects turned out amazing!!!❤❤❤
The piano turned out fantastic!
I love both tables! But you have a knack for making everything look beautiful, so all of your finds turned out great! 💜
Thanks so much! 😊
DEFINATELY the hair pin legs :) great job!
Nice! I loved every thing you did in this video! Lots of inspiration here. Thank you!
I like the piano, and if I got to pick a 2nd, it would be the hutch. Thank you for sharing.
I can’t decide between all the amazing upgrades you did. I love them all!!
Both came out so pretty 💕

We got a free piano from an apartment complex that lived in its lobby for decades. My son LOVES it and uses it nearly daily for the last 6 years :)
