How come you don’t go more in to depth when you have no pressure? Such as maybe putting your own supple of ad blue incase maybe a pipe is drawing air in etc? Also after you fitted the pump I noticed the pressure dropped to 6,7.5 bar and then shot back up? Also I have loads of these pumps sitting about where can I get parts? Cheers & good videos!
Hey Dean thanks for the comment. The only time I've encountered air entering an adblue system on DAF is on FAD tippers where the pipes rub under the battery tray I used to flush the pumps out with distilled water but customers want reliability and seeing as I would strip the old units I was able to identify the failed parts such as the rubber membrane behind the pump or the pressure sensors and then start replacing these instead. The pressure drop corresponds to the AdBlue dosing valve opening briefly which you can hear when you run the test and see on jaltest this obviously opens up the supply pipe to the injector hence the pressure drop . I keep the seal kits and associated parts in stock on www.trucktechuk.com usually but they just sell out straight away.......I will make them available for pre-order I think so people can get a look in 🤔

Where do you get these rebuild kits? I work on material handling equipment that runs the Cummins engine and have the same pump and they are expensive to replace regularly so repair kit would be a useful option to offer my customers

no. Has a intermittend EGR fault code(P103C) which i know is the start off the bearing going out(EGR valve has a little play) but i plan on putting a new valve on it . I have allways prefered to replace parts before the truck fails,specially parts that you know that will wear out before the engine does. Ps i raise this question not just for me but also for the others who watch your video's. @@TRUCKTECHUK
Could be the EGR valve, but could also be sign of needing to clean EGR cooler, venturi tube, and air management sensors. The upstream Nox sensor could also be causing the fault.@@daf106brugge4
Hello Russell, despite the coolant reservoir being full in the 2019 DAF truck, it still displays the "coolant level low" warning. The sound of this warning is quite bothersome for the driver. Whether we fill the reservoir, replace the sensor, or even change the entire reservoir, the warning persists. The dealer in our country charges a significant amount to clear this warning. Please guide on how to resolve this issue.

Ha ha ha you are right! I'd have to start doing videos on the other junk I try not to work on like Mercedes-Benz or Fiat! I love Daf as a product, as the market leader in truck sales from a business point of view it makes sense to specialise in repairing these due to the amount of Daf products on the road. Would you rebuild on 8 1/2y old mx11(640 000km) the pump preventive? Truck will stay in the compagny for several more years.At present no fault codes.

70 plate you can't sorry it has to be fixed. It was 3406 but brake pad wear now runs through CMF AND CMR
