And this version, I think, is recorded on a hospital in the early 50´s. Only Jussi, a band and a microphone. It doesn´t get more real than that! Very impressive
I imagine the effect of hearing him sing live would be like shockwaves going through your body in an awesome way. Absolutely breathtaking ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Wow what a beautiful Voice where's this sort of voice powerful sounding nowadays 🙏😭 in everyday life.?? And singing this without any background music and background??

@@RichardGraham-l6fNo, I have not. If you knew anything about JB's life you would not pretend that god ever had a genuin interest in him and his brothers when they might have needed a god. Now you want to put god in to "celebrate" heavenly goodness. But JB built his voice on his father's ideas about singing. When he had sang in most countries in the world - was that the time for a divine intervention?
@MrMakahano I know about Jussi's struggles - but I can't think of any greater compliment to Jussi's singing ability, than mine. (and I am an atheist!)
@@RichardGraham-l6f You think it is a great positive thing to link JB to a god you do not believe in? That's something! JB was not "given" a voice by god, but by nature. His father, JB himself and the people he met did the rest.
This man was Jussi Bjoerling, Swedish Tenor who died in 1960 at too young an age. The world's greatest tenor.
Admired by Pavarotti
Jussi Björling is the greatest tenor ever. I'm proud to be a Swede 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪
I play this loud for my family early every Christmas morning. 🇸🇪
I agree - and I'm not a Swede, just an opera fan(atic) 😉
Me too
Yes Pavarotti is not even close!
I'm from Wales, i'm glad he celebrated Feb 2nd (my birthday) as his.
Never heard a more beautiful voice than his. Great to see you reacting to this:)
Spectacular is the word! 🤩

Those who heard him live said that the power and warmth of his voice was much greater than what you hear in recordings.
@@achantus1 Yes and Victoria de los Angeles said the same.
No one can sing this Christmas song Like Jussi Bjorling. What a Terrific Voice From this Amazing Tenor. Great Reaction.👍👏👏👏🐐...
Absolutely, Thank you for commenting ❤️
❤
Jussi Björling is a national treasure.
You got that right❤️❤️, thank you for commenting
He is also a world class singer. Pretty hard to top his voice.
No one beats Jussi on this piece...

Jussi was the best in The World
My number one Christmas record, for the last few years. Even beating Darlene Love's "Christmas" (Baby Please Don't Go).
You shall hear nessun dorma he sweeps the court with Pavarotti.
Jussi's SLOW version of Nessun Dorma is the best. Easy to find on youtube.
Pavarotti used to say when asked how he prepares himself to do a piece. I listen to Jussi and try to copy him but i never succeed fully
Amazing 😮
Just be quiet love and listen to his voice to the end ? And stop interrupting ? Then comment?

Jussi was chosen by God to sing that song!
That is definitely not true!
Have you no sense of the Divine?😊😊
