SHORT STORY: My father, who’s gone now, was the original dumpster diver. He would take me to the dump, ( me 5) & he’d let check out stuff in safer areas. I found some pretty cool toys, & even money.😊 that was in the 1950s.

No I do not. Maybe one day, but for now I like to keep it to the department stores for brand new items, since I’m donating 99.9% of what I find , to people in need in my community 😊💜. Especially the toys, & items for the kiddos ☺️💜

DG recently salvaged their red dot items. If they didn't get them off the sales floor in time to send them on the truck, they probably threw some away for that reason. Also if you look at the tag and can find the year on the purple dot items, they may have thrown some because it was last year's salvage they found in the stockroom or on the sky shelves. Sometimes, there's no rhyme or reason though. Happy you saved it from the landfills.
Great haul! Such a shame that they didn't even bother to put the stuff out for the customers but chose to throw it away. So many people will benefit from the things u rescued on your drive. Thank u for helping others!
