I did linehaul some years back for UFS Holland but we were home every week but I drove terminal to terminal and had CLC (corporate lodging cards) to pay for hotel when away from home. Is SEFL linehaul like that or am I home everyday?
What if your not good at driving manual but dont have a restriction on your license? You think they can atleast train and do a refresher in a manual before i test? Its not my fault nobody uses them and no one i know has a manual too practice in either.. manuals are damn near extinct now and i hate i never really got too drive one other then too take my test in at cdl school back in 2018 .

Since more qualified candidates are applying and spots are few and far between . But if you lie they will not hire you whatsoever, for some reason they don’t take kindly to lying .

Congrats on that wedding! You just gonna skip over that?😂 I’m glad to hear you like it there, it sounds tempting to me. I’ve heard nothing but good things about them so far. One of our guys told me to go to SEFL if I ever had the chance, but I’m not sure how their Linehaul compares to ours.
Every where I go or have been I do my job and take everything seriously driving a truck, I don't take shortcuts or skip things, what I have done is leave when I find out I was BS'd or the company is putting my CDL in jeopardy, I don't play that game because my CDL is my means of supporting myself, the company will still be there if I have a CDL or not, but what am I supposed to do?
Thank you sir I also started at prime , it may be too late but if you got your CRL through them see if you can learn to drive a manual. That automatic restriction limits you with LTL companies
@@KDSTrucking yeah already got the restriction. Contacted SEFL about the possibility of testing out in a manual bc I know they have that driver training program, even if I just learn shifting and retest. Figured it couldn’t hurt to ask. If not gotta just figure it out
@@Antoninirivera yes sir on Alabama you have to bobtail during a road test to get it off , it was super easy , after driving trucks . Learning a manual is way easier since you don’t have the fear of driving like you do your first time in a semi . SAIA helped me get mine off but I heard SEFL will as well so it def doesn’t hurt to ask brother
@@KDSTrucking my personal car is a manual and I ride motorcycles so it’s just learning the ratios in the truck. Hopefully it’s that easy in GA where I’ll be. Thanks for the info man hopefully I’ll see you out there one day 👌🏽

The Atlanta terminal has a driver program the train u to get the restriction off, do u test in a manual then after u test in the manual past is it automatic after that? or it switches everyday?

I'm trying to get on either Austell or Lithia springs or Conley terminal and it seems to be a little difficult to get on! I got all my endorsements & TWIC, good mvr & csa & 30 plus yrs experience. I'm like, "Put me in coach🙋🏿"

I might have to go back in and change it after I pass the test if that's possible or call someone.You have any advice on that?

@@FreightHauler87 that’s what I’m wondering .... those sensors freeze up and get snow on em in the winter. I did a CPU before my run and the damn thing beeped about 200 times in 45 miles i went crazy. I couldn’t imagine how the city drivers are not going crazy all day with all the beeping

You’ll have a balance of both , may be in an automatic most of the time Bc the old heads like the manuals more .
