I'm living in Perth but from Te Tairawhiti never thought of canoeing down the Waipaoa you make it look so enjoyable and relaxing definitely am going to invest in a canoe 🛶 and do that trip..the motu would be another adventure..be safe love your content..missing our peice of paradise....not the duck's 🤣👋
It is a great trip down the river, next i will look at starting up the Mangatu, the river is very shallow but no probs canoeing it, i have thought about the Motu as well, think it would be an interesting trip 😂😝🐠🛶🏕🎣🇳🇿🦈🪵🪓
Gidday brother,i did kayak from te karaka to Gisborne but started from kanakanaia bridge and it took me a whole day, stopping for lunch at Ormond bridge and carried on to river mouth,5:30am i left tekaraka,and got to gizzy 5:50pm back in 1985,im now 56yo and hoping to do it again👍 good on ya mate

A great trip to do I enjoyed every moment of it. Having a camp out etc, it’s a very safe trip to do no rapids etc 😝😝😝
