- Is there a forward highway peg solution for the Bonneville? Can you take your Bonneville on long rides with better rider ergonomics? Can you tour on a Bonneville? In short, yes. Here is a quick video I did on this part I purchased online, it's the Forward Highway Foot Peg Assembly Kit for The Triumph Bonneville T120 T100 bikes. Also works for the Speed Twins and Street Twins, I think. This one seems to be the best value for the money out of the few options that exist out there. Not perfect, but not sure Triumph makes it easy to have a perfect solutions for forward foot placement options. This is a great addition to your bike if you like long distance touring or just prefer rider more forward foot placement options. Here is a link for it as well.

I just ordered for my street twin, just what i was looking for thanks for the video
Oh nice, Yeah, it really helped me enjoy the bike more being at 6 ft. Take your time on the install, but once you get them on, it's great. I like the flexibility.
thx for the video -- any chance you can add some video with a front view to show how they're attached/mounted to the bike
How is it attached to the frame? is it one piece across or two pieces?
It's one piece like a billy bar
@@bike_addict Can you post a pic of the billy bar how it attaches to the bike... your video is ok but you only shot it from one angle and never from the front or close to show how the billy bar attaches to the frame ...
@@valentinomarquez5903 What he said!
It would have been nice if it had a more refined design, but it's a good enough solution!
Thanks for watching. Yeah, def more function focus and rugged than pretty, but at the same time, I like that I can take them off when needed pretty quickly. Better solution for the money than a second bike, lol. I think one Triumph in the garage is good enough for me. The world is filled with great bikes. Ride safe!
Love this man.
Thanks!
Great video, I’ll definitely be trying this for better comfort on longer rides! Out of curiosity, what pants are those in the video?
Thanks for your comment. Yeah, they're work great. There is a link in the description of the video for the ones I got.

The bike is stashed for winter, but you check with the manufacturer maybe?
I have sump plate under the bike and I wonder where you installed these pegs ? Do you think both can be used at the same time? if there is an install manual , can you share it ? thank you
I am not sure, although I did see a guy with a sump plate and the pegs, it was the OEM one. I had the Motone, and it was too tall. You'd have to check with the company to see for your particular one, ask and see. But def check before you buy. Ride safe.
Any of you guys know if it would fit a street scrambler?
It would not, I think you would have to see about the sump plate, but you can always check with the company, they would know better.
anyone install these highway pegs with the OEM Sump/Bash plate -- looks like the bash plate would get in the way of the install
Actually, they are called highway pegs, not forward controls. Triumph sells (quite expensive) forward control kits
Yes, more like highway pegs, correct.
Not one view from front to see how the mount....
How could you possibly omit? useless video
