We bought this for my 6 yr old daughter (who plays by ear) for Christmas last year. She loves it and listens to music off the Echo Dot and then goes ahead and plays until she nails the melody. We bought it especially for the accessories and price point. She's still 6 after all and having a mic for her to karoke into was a plus.
I want to get a pedal for her now as she just started proper lessons on a real piano so I want to simulate that at home on this keyboard.
Thanks for the review Jeremy there are functions on here that I had no idea off tbh, being non-musical myself but I can show her how to better use the functions now.

So I bought this and want to connect it to my PC to play MIDI files. I have the USB connected and recognized and have Studio One DAW installed. BUT the controls don't show up in the instrument. Can you do a walkthrough on setting up the DEK-610 to a PC and associating it with a DAW?

Hello Jeremy. Happy Holidays. I have a question about this keyboard and microphone use. I bought for a 10 year old for Christmas, and the instructions are useless. Do you recall how to work the microphone once it's plugged in? Is there a specific button on the keyboard? Or maybe the microphone is broken, since it seems very cheap. Thanks for your help.

Sound wise, does this one kills the Casiotone CT-s1?? Not talking about bells and whistles, but about the quality sound along with sensitivity. I would love to hear your opinion, since I don't a comparison. Great reviews.
It doesnt. Also ct S1 is touch sensitive and much higher quality

At Daiso (a Japanese dollar store), they have a 8 key (black keys are there and move but don’t work) mini keyboard for $1.50.

When I bought it there was a midi option on thr
back but it was covered and so i took the cover off
and there was nothing to plug my midi cord into. It was just the inside of the keyboard.
Was the sound of the piano coming from the speakers?
Yes it is... The preamps audio out of cheap keyboards are usually not the best anyway

Hey you should make a video about the yamaha chord tracker with connection
They now have a "P" version now: DEK-610P. Not sure what the difference is between the "P" version and non-P version. Although the P version has like a pitch wheel on it like you would find on a midi type keyboard.
P is touch sensitive

You should try to sing some Neil Diamond songs. Your voice is close to his.
Functions and accessories for your money...wow. But the sound...!! That hurt my hears listening to that at the end (the keyboard, obviously, not your singing :-).
