I had recently just come back from China on a school trip and it was absolutely amazing! I had been learning Chinese for 9 years prior to this trip and it was an absolute amazing experience being able to communicate with the people who live there but also to see the beauty of the country! If any of you are planing on going to China I would definitely recommend going to the Great Wall!
you appreciation towards China will not be accepted in mainstream Western world, just remember.

My late brother and I had always wanted to go to China. We and our wives fulfilled our dreams and spent several weeks there in 2012. The Great Wall was the highlight of our trip, and I'm so glad we got to do it while he was still with us and in good health. I wish he could have seen this video, as it shows a great deal more than we saw and from a perspective not possible on the ground. Thank you for sharing your talent, and I hope you were able to recover all those lost GBs. When I travel I always keep my footage on both my laptop and a flash card just in case 😊

When I watch this clip, I feel myself as if I am a Chinese origin.
The Great Wall was built from the Warring States Period (China was divided into six small countries) to the Ming Dynasty.(500 years ago),It lasted for more than a thousand years. The Emperor of the Ming Dynasty decided to defend the border himself, in this way can be better protect his people. Therefore, the capital moved from Nanjing to Beijing. In that era, Nanjing was the center and Beijing was the frontier of China. But unfortunately, after 276 years, the Ming Dynasty was defeated by a subsidiary country outside the Great Wall. In fact, this affiliated country also speaks Chinese and writes Chinese characters. Due to the existence of the Great Wall, the Ming Dynasty believed that was safe, so did not invade that country. After more than 200 years of development, that country gradually became stronger, and finally annexed the Ming Dynasty. The two countries merged into today's China, so now, The Great Wall is almost at the center of China.

omg, Great wall is the miracle of human being!
Japanese language was made from Chinese characters, they used some whole Chinese characters and parts of some characters to make Japanese. they did these because of patriotic reason ,just like Korean did so later. if you went to the museum in Japan or Korean. you will find every history book over 400 years old are actually in exact Chinese language. because they didn't have one of their own at that time. this is true regarding the historical building left there as well. they are the same style as the Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty which you can still find nowadays in China.
It is well known that historically China dominated culturally eastern Asia.

I went back to Beijing in 2015 after 20 years living in America. The city changed beyond recognition. I went to see Great Wall for the second time in my life. I was in awe by its magnificent structure and really proud of Chinese. I do not have words to describe how it feels. You have to be there

I am going to the Great Wall as well, and as an avid traveler myself, I wanna know how many days/ sections of the Great Wall you visited to record all of this? I am a Beijinger, really welcome you guys could come to Beijing to see the spectacular Forbidden City, the Tian an men square ,the great wall, the summer palace, Temple of Heaven........there are so many wonderful places you need to visit in China!! You would feel the long-lasting history in China!!! And also China is a more modern country, those big cities in China are very clean!! Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Nanjing, Hong kong, Macau, Xi'an. And there are also so many other cities are really really good !!! Chinese food are really yum!!! Hope you guys could spend some time in China, you will feel very amazing than you go to other places. If you want to feel the history about 5000 years, China is the country you do need to visit and travel!! If you want to play and see some delicious food, all the dishes in different Chinese cities are awesome!! please come and have some really authentic Chinese dishes!!!
