    I’m so glad you show us your process for choosing fabrics and placements of your blocks. What computer program do you use for the critters placement? I love that you just fly by the seat of your pants during your recordings. It’s like your just visiting me, while I’m sewing and we’re sharing our sewing spaces etc. together. I sure wish I had a sewing /quilting buddy like you. Hugs, Have a wonderful day!❤❤❤❤❤❤

    Blue in the cornerstone is pretty. Wahoo navy pillow! How about put some emery filings in the fin on that pincushion so you can use it to sharpen your needles like the strawberry in the tomato pincushion? I like the aqua beach ladies for the critter quilt. Ohhhh yiur Christmas Mystery so cute.

    Navy floral pillow looks nice! Shark pincushion is sharp. Christmas mystery, like the idea of putting red babbles along bottom & white above them. On your Fruitcake quilt, why not make sashing real scrappy & use each block print in sashing. Great video, catch you next time online of course😊

    If I have batting strips, making frankenbatting is super simple. Just zig zag them together...3 or 4 strips and you have batting. It's actually easier for a wallhanging that size than for say placemats.

    On the fruit cake quilt, I like the idea of the nine patch with the blue centers for corner stones. Thank you for sharing.

    You are so good at packing so much good stuff in one video. About your tutorial on the design when you were adding 1 1/2" pieces to the side of the checkerboard insert, not suggesting you should do this but wondering would you ever do like a partial checkerboard on each end to continue it? Not sure if I'm making sense.

    Move the bird over to the left so the block is not on top of the toucan's head.

    I love to watch you put your quilts together. You will pull fabric and my first thought is that is just plain ugly, I would never buy that let alone use it in a quilt and then when it is all said and done it turns out absolutely beautiful. Perhaps, someday, I will step out of the safe space and give the novelty type prints ago. Thank you for sharing your inspiration, tips and tricks to help us grow as quilters.

    • @PatSloan
      @PatSloan  ปีที่แล้ว
