- We are doing this again aren't we? Officially announcing my second pregnancy (although if you watch my channel religiously, you already know).
As a Black woman, I was told by doctors that having children might not be in my future. While I respect modern medicine, it’s crucial to acknowledge that women’s health, especially for women of color, often gets overlooked. We are more than statistics; our voices and experiences matter.
After years of uncertainty, I’m now celebrating my second pregnancy! This incredible journey wasn’t easy. I turned to holistic healing - working with a holistic nutritionist, consulting a naturopath, and eliminating sugar, gluten, alcohol, and dairy from my diet. Through these changes, I addressed the root cause of my hormonal issues and healed my body from the inside out.
To every woman who feels unheard or overlooked, know that there are alternative paths to healing. Trust your body, explore holistic options, and never give up hope.

My daughter was 13 when i found myself pregnant and in shock. Had been with my guy for 10 years and he had a vasectomy 2 years before we met. We assumed it had reversed so he had his sperm tested. No sperm. Got it tested a few months later, no sperm. 😮 Yes my son is his, got a DNA test to confirm for him and all our people who doubted me lol. Lesson learned, God has the final say. 🥰 Congratulations to you and hubby Jen.

Congratulations! I have three children who are all 13 months apart. They are grown now but it was challenging for a few years. But my kids enjoyed growing up together and they are still very close.
Jen, My 1st child is 21 months and my 2nd is 6 weeks…. ITS NO WALK IN THE PARK….but its doable if we ASK for the help we need. You got this 💁🏽♀️...you and hubby got this.

I have 3 girls 3 1/2 years apart. It's not easy, but boy, was it fun. They are late 20's early 30's. I really miss the toddler times. All I'm saying is enjoy every minute. Time past so fast.
Congrats. I am a mom of three, and I can say it will be difficult, but you will adjust to the new normal. Girl, there is a science in "head head," as we say in my country. They grow together, play together, and get out of your space together, lololol. Then you and your husband can enjoy your later years together without worrying about your young ones. Congratulations love 🎊🎉🥳 found out I was pregnant 10 months post partum so I definitely can relate! I have a 2 year old and a 6 months old, and I couldn’t imagine my life any other way! I do pray they are close when they grow up! It’s hard but we are Women we just get it done! You will do great!

Appreciate this vlog! I'm currently pregnant with my second (almost 6 months) and my daughter is 14 months, defiantly can relate to the conflicted feelings. But also hearing your testimony encourages me to better embrace the moment and this chapter in my life.
Kids close in age is the best....hard to juggle at first, but their bond is super worth it!!!❤❤
You’re so authentic, thx for sharing, I like your comment about being present, showing up for the day and not looking back or ahead that ur not paying attention to the day. I have 4 kids, oldest is 24 and youngest is 3, lol, so it can be very overwhelming but def more of a blessing! Blessings to you and your family and wish you a healthy rest of pregnancy and delivery.

My baby was 10 months old when I found out I was pregnant again. I was absolutely shocked! (Tried for 2 years to get pregnant so didn’t think I would get pregnant again quickly). 😅
Congrats!!! You and your husbands are great parents and your baby is beautiful. There is no “Normal”. things happen when they are supposed to. Enjoy the journey ahead … Just have to share that Kaiser in California said I needed fertility treatment and I was given clomid to take on the 3rd day of my cycle but the cycle never came because I was pregnant… with identical TWIN Girls!THEN 5 months later I was pregnant again with identical TWIN boys!! So two sets of identical twins only 14 months apart! Obviously Kaiser Hospital doctors were wrong 😂😂

Did you not use anything after your daughter because maybe you thought you probably wouldn’t get pregnant for a long time? I have thought about not using anything once I conceive my first child since I seems more difficult for me to fall pregnant with the PCOS

Thanks for sharing. I definitely needed to hear this. I’m 36 weeks with our second. Our daughter is 2 (26 months) so no quite 2 under 2 but a full blown toddler and newborn are gonna be under the same roof soon. This whole pregnancy I’ve been worried about how we are going to make this work. Child care costs, how can I go back to work (stay at home mom) is it even worth me going back due to the costs of child care, how can I care for this new baby and our 2 yr old? But God sent this video so I can see you moving with grace even in uncertainty. I’m at the tail end of pregnancy, but I will be joyful and rejoice. There’s no issues with being a mom to multiples under a certain age. My boys are 16mos apart. They are best friends. And you are CAPABLE! No it’s not unfair to her. Involve her in the care so she feels and understands she’s still important. Again, congratulations. Be blessed.
