Really really like the rebrand and it fits something a lot of other skate youtubers don't really do. Just having access to someone at the pro level really breakdown skateboard tricks at a foot position micro/ Body macro is really refreshing and different from the typical lazy skate trick tip. Really hope this sets a new standard for tutorial videos in the future. Thanks again for all the great content
I totally do the hip thing, and have never understood popping out, which I now realize is because you can't pop when your leg is already straight. You're so good at making tutorials. Like just instantly made me realize the problem I've had for years within the first minute of a video
He makes it look so damn easy. I’ve been making sure my knee is bent, but just don’t have the balance to hold it long. My best run was maybe a 2-3 second manual, but they’re usually only a second. Just more practice I guess
I'm pretty convinced I'll never manual for more than like 3 seconds but I started doing this lift your front leg up technique and I sort of felt something interesting for a second. I'll keep messing with it.
ME: This kid is good... he should be famous... I wonder if he ever competed.. 2 weeks later.... ME: Doing some research to see who he is..... ME: Holy shit it's Mitchie Brusco... I thought he was like 12 years old... good lord I am old.... time goes fast.
Seriously, i was born in 71 , the advantage people getting into skateboarding these day , with TH-cam, and a teacher homeboy teaching these tricks. I feel like an old dog learning new trick , or helping me improve the ones I do . This dude kicks ass
Can't believe I've learned all these other aspects and improved my manuals to about 5 seconds without realizing it was my straight leg messing me up. I knew it didn't feel right the way wheelies do, but couldn't put my finger on it. Can't wait to implement this.
that tip of when you loose your hips past center of gravity over your board your gone. I manual liked that for 10 years. I cant squat very well without a skateboard so its quite a challenge. learning to manual switch also helped me learn proper regular manual technique too.
Mitchie Brusco you ruined skateboarding for me. I used to 'have fun' and 'talk about nothing', and now I go and think about 'finding heal support' and 'back disasters' 'don't rotate until you're coming back in', and all this stuff you say, and I haven't even had time to watch them all another 1,000 times, like I only watch each one like 10 times, not back to back, but I'm always like, pause, where's the arrow? Ok, yeah, straighten the leg and I'm going to die at least once, but it's worth it for the schkamack! Also, I used to talk about 'nothing' with 'other skaters' which is about what I knew. Now, I'm always like, 'have you ever heard of Mitchie Brusco', well, he has these trick tips, and he talks about 'heal support'. You see how you are dragging your board around with your front foot, well, Mitchie says that's for retards, and I agree, I am on my quest to find heal support. He also did a thing about bowls, and how to find lines, but I'm like, yeah, Mitchie, there's a billion lines in the right 'bowl' 'park' like Vans HB, you can hit sideways, long ways, front to back, back to front, on the Vans sign, off the Vans Sign, etc. Then over to the Combi. Watch what's his face do frontside flips eight feet out. Yeah, all I had to do was say that and we all know there's only one who can, Cory who? Oh Juknow. Oh crap, I forgot Grosso takes me over, other than that, I only talk about your videos and it bums me out. I used to have my own lame ass no heal support, not even thinking about trying back d's, type of life, and now, I'm thinking about cess slides and board slides and how I should just be thinking of all that as one thing. Dope!
This man actually doing the manual on the box switch and acting like it’s nothing…
With zero wobble... it doesn't even look real because of how smooth it was hahaha
For real. This is probably the cleanest manual I've seen, even among street pros. His body form doesn't show any effort on balancing the thing.
Many hours of practice pain and sacrifice.
He even calls it comfortable.
Noticed at the end. Just wow.
Really really like the rebrand and it fits something a lot of other skate youtubers don't really do. Just having access to someone at the pro level really breakdown skateboard tricks at a foot position micro/ Body macro is really refreshing and different from the typical lazy skate trick tip.

Your pedagogical skills are on point, Mitchie.
I love the presentation on this video. It really captures the feel of someone teaching you in person. Hard to explain.
Now this is the type of tutorial I'd watch forever. No bs, just straight to the point explanations. Great fucking job, man!
Those were the crispiest manuals I’ve ever seen
Dude!!! So simple, yet super insightful. I gotta practice those manual squats!!!!
I got frustrated for two days now I think I’m getting there but man you talking like it’s easy 😅thank you very much by the way 🙏
When he did it switch with no effort
I constantly lock my back leg, can do pretty long manuals, cant wait to try the bend 😅
I totally do the hip thing, and have never understood popping out, which I now realize is because you can't pop when your leg is already straight. You're so good at making tutorials. Like just instantly made me realize the problem I've had for years within the first minute of a video
SAME bro same
Same here
This dude is next level coach I've learned so much shit in past two days
same
That's amazing. You can do it on both your left and right feet.
He makes it look so damn easy. I’ve been making sure my knee is bent, but just don’t have the balance to hold it long. My best run was maybe a 2-3 second manual, but they’re usually only a second. Just more practice I guess
“Then the next thing you want to do is flip out.” No, the next thing I want to do is not banana peel and bust my ass. 😂
Lol for real
I'm pretty convinced I'll never manual for more than like 3 seconds but I started doing this lift your front leg up technique and I sort of felt something interesting for a second. I'll keep messing with it.
I haven’t learned a flip trick yet can I still flip out?
I nvr knew squats were how all the tech guys can flip out. 😅 i gotta practice that. 😏
It really makes sense if you think about it though
ME: This kid is good... he should be famous... I wonder if he ever competed..
2 weeks later....
ME: Doing some research to see who he is.....
ME: Holy shit it's Mitchie Brusco... I thought he was like 12 years old... good lord I am old.... time goes fast.
What a perfect video, thank you so much for sharing.
Thanx. Best tutorials.
This is the best trick tip video I’ve seen in a while. Thanks
incredible it helped me
you the man
Do long brodes make Stake brodes easier to learn ?
Thanks a lot man!
How many takes did the opener take to shoot?
4 or 5 tries hahhaa
Perfect trick tip
Did you land the 1260 at the xgames?😲
You’re a real life video game
You are in straya? Dude, I'll come visit.
I'll pay you to teach me some
How he just ollies right from the manual....
Bro! Your legs are like horse muscle kind of level
But I already manual for less than 10 seconds. More like less than 1 second.
oh, wait...
Love you brotha🙏🏻🛹🇧🇷
I tried it 10 seconds. Did not work.
Try to think you have only one truck, and that truck is the middle of your board and keep your center above that. Works for me. (and bend the knees)
This man is ridiculous
I realised the bending knees thing after years of trial and error. Makes such an obvious difference. TH-cam didn’t exist when I learned to skate.
Computers didn’t exist when I started skating. 😂
Yea but you had bootleg VHS tapes full of sick skate footy to learn from...
Seriously, i was born in 71 , the advantage people getting into skateboarding these day , with TH-cam, and a teacher homeboy teaching these tricks. I feel like an old dog learning new trick , or helping me improve the ones I do . This dude kicks ass
This dude on a skateboard is as natural as walking for him
Bro love the vid and break down. And dang bro your legs are JACKED haha
Been doing manuals wrong my whole life. This was super helpful thank you 🙏
your tutorials are so good, it's only a matter of time until your channel blows up
My 47 year old knees wake up in cold sweats watching stuff like this
Mine too 😂
man i wish i had you around when i was a kid. would have made life SO MUCH EASIER!
Ah man! Hopefully the next gen gets a little head start
Mitchie's skateboarding is better than his bare walking
Could you just pretend it is more difficult for you? You know, for us, humans.
Brilliant man thank you and nIce legs mate good work!
Straight to the point, short and no bs. Boss lesson, props.
The hip tip was so good! Next video you can talk about the toe shimmy for the flip out 😉
Can't believe I've learned all these other aspects and improved my manuals to about 5 seconds without realizing it was my straight leg messing me up. I knew it didn't feel right the way wheelies do, but couldn't put my finger on it. Can't wait to implement this.
I hope it helped !
i wish i watched this, new to skateboarding and i was learning manuals recently and i fell forwards and chipped my tooth XD totally faceplanted lol
I Just discovered tuky channel and your way of explaining things so down do the core made me hit the subscribe button.
damn, all i needed was for someone to tell me to keep my knees bent... i feel so stupid haha
Really hope this works been soo terrible at manuals my whole life
Can we get a guide on how to do switch manuals !
Does this guy have any street parts anywhere? Ive never seen anybody do a manual that effortlessly.
How manny differnt manuals are there? I talk about the normal manny.
Damnnnnual.. please help me with the nose manual onto curbs
Oohhh good call!
I want that shirt.
Ima try this rn
Good!
