Thank you for taking the time to learn about this plane before streaming a flight. Many of your fellow TH-camrs simply jumped in and stumbled and fumbled around confusing not only themselves, but everyone watching. Kudos flightdecktosim….the best of the rest!
I would like to see a release of a well-developed Fokker F27 for MSFS. The sound of those Dart engines is so distinctive and takes me back to watching them come and go at Gisborne. NZ.
@@transair27they did for P3D but not that great (I flew 11,600 hours in the real ones). I flew the F28 for 5 years as a Training Captain & this is fantastic!
The first plane I ever flew in, in the early 90s. Flew the 737, then the next plane was the Fokker 100 in 94'. Please look for the Royal Swazi livery for the F100 🙏
Wow - Finally correct flight with proper use of speedbrake. Yaw dropping experience with both you flying the arch - and JustFlight work. The sound and rumble on TO is impressive The slow gear extension is designed to catch the pitch change. There is no NWS lock out - so there is no push back while starting engines. We parked it so it is able turn around. (At least earlier model). Pilots loved it - flies like a fighter. We mechanics almost hated it, compared to Boeing. I was a licensed tech on F28-1000. Best evolution in aircraft design was when Fokker went bankrupt. A personal huge disappointment : there is no Braathens SAFE livery - the launch customer in 1969. I cannot believe Justflight missed it. F28 belongs to winter operations in small airports along the coast and north. Swedish Linjeflyg is also missing. But stupid SAS is represented - why? - I will not touch that aircraft. Credit card ready - I could pay double. Even if the smell of Skydrol hydraulic leaks are missing. Thank you for Ops manual - PMDG should be ashamed
Thanks for the message! Is this in relation to trying to maintain at least 80% HP with a preference of using speedbrake over reducing thrust to control speed? (I had to fight every single extinct to do that, idle thrust before speedbrake in the 737!) Thanks so much for your insight! Really interesting and I enjoyed reading! Yes I would've lover the Braathens Livery (I wanted to replicate the fist commercial flight!) but no doubt someone will make one. JF always make wonderful, detailed and easy to understand manuals. Like you said, a lot of devs could learn from this! All the best! FD2S
@@flightdeck2sim I am not sure about the speedbrake philosophy. May be you got the same feel as a propeller (airspeed) in descend? Looking forward to experiment myself... Fun fact: the blue pitch switch is guarded with lips - pilots constantly fingers it. Named clit**is.
I love seeing T-tails because they're so rare nowadays, but after seeing a couple of streams of the F28, I'm still not really feeling it. Too much workload, I think. I think I've been spoiled too much by the automation on modern planes. Just my opinion though, and it was still a great landing right in the zone nonetheless.
The only issue I have with the price is that the plane doesn't have any failures modeled... for $70 I expect to get some failures... that's honestly quite disappointing. I will still get it though lol

Yes indeed. I 'suggested' the same to Just Flight....maybe they'll get the hint??????? great to have 2 of the same vintage!
Hopefully they do. I'd love an F27. I'd need an upgrade on my pc speakers though to allow my neighbours to enjoy the Dart whine too! Haha

Loved the F28. 300 Kts to the final approach fix.

The fonts on the overhead and gauges are so cartoony - but legit when matching the JF model to real world pictures.
Cartoony fonts? What in the world does that even mean?????
Wdym cartoony fonts? Doesn’t look like Peppa pig to me!
how do you change the camera controls, so I don't have to use the right and left to walk straight
What a F28 24 hours, what with V1 and FD2S!
I want one of these for X-plane

Hi , have you use reshade or another program ?
Nope, this is stock MSFS 🙂

Hopefully they add the 100 model...
Different aircraft, will be a release in early 2024.

To be added post release in an update. There will be no cost for that update. Hope that helps.
Sadly too expensive for me.

What a stupid comment
Plane looks great, it's too had they put it in a Scenery Simulator/video game.
enjoy your 1977 looking sim then

This blind loyalty towards certain sims seems so bizarre, why not just enjoy what you wish and not gatekeep others? MSFS and XPlane both have a place.
@flightdeck2sim Read up any on ice detection systems? How they work are really interesting! Resonance, apparently!
Oohh interesting, I wonder how that works? I can see Bleed air is used to remove ice but no reference to resonance!
