But I do think they shouldn't have started with Klaver in the first leg. I think she should be in the 2nd leg as often where she can get some advantage before the 3rd leg where they got weaker runner before passing it to Bol.
Anyway, the giants of Netherlands still dominated the relay.

@@dayleashleynolasco5765 I think they run Klaver on leg 1 in the indoor relay so that, with the tight turns and shorter straights, they can get to the lane break in front, since Klaver always goes out like a train from the start. Outdoors it doesn't matter so much because the lane break isn't until the second leg and there's more established space between the athletes by then.

Femka Bol is a gift to us all. I love her probably more than anybody who runs the 400 plain and hurdles because she doesn't cheat the fans. She shows up to almost EVERYTHING that is on the calendar and just puts on a show. She's the greatest.

Your reasoning is mediocre. People pick competitions based on very many things. Such as travel logistics, rest and recovery, training calendar, goals, prize money etc. what do you mean “cheat the fans” . You are being selfish by thinking like that. Also obviously you’re not an athlete because you’d know that it doesn’t work like that and that athletes actually do it for themselves. Not for country or fans lol. TF

Agree, only Poland can able beat those quick giants of Netherlands. However, they must work double time to achieve it as they are a bit lacking length. It's obvious their runners are so little eventhough they are fast. Good thing their ace Natalia Kaczmarek didn't join the relay because the result would have been the same. What a waste if effort.
Polish have the quality to develop pretty good runners. Although the women in there team are so small. They couldn't beat Netherlands or the others like Jamaica, Dom Rep or US if they are lacking in length. Kaczmarek is only over 5'7. She can run the same pace of Bol, mid high on Femke's same time in 400m. But she can't carry the squad single handedly.

Justyna Swiety ersetic said that her body is injury prone and she needs to take it slow and I don’t know about baumgart witan she wasn’t in the indoor season at all and there was another polish 400m runner who also commentated the championships (assuming she’s injured) so yeah we had Ania and the third squad of girls. I’m hoping for kornelia lesziewicz to come back fully after her injury and for kinga gacka to be more present in the relays as she’s closing in on her PBs every season.

I don't think that they were afraid of Bol. Even at the end of the 2022 it was clear that a much weaker team would be sent to Istambul. That's why only one girl from the Polish TOP 5 ran in this relay (Anna Kiełbasińska, the first leg runner). What about the rest? Both Małgorzata Hołub and Iga Baumgart skipped the indoor season. Natalia Kaczmarek was in very good form, but she ran only 3 times (including 2 runs at the Polish Championships) and decided not to start in Istambul. Almost the same can be said about Justyna Święty (only 3 starts) - she didn't want to take a chance because her last two seasons were hampered by a string of injuries. The Budapest Championships will be much more important.

With SO many more people it would be strange if the USA wouldn't have a lot more talent to fill 4x400m teams ...

For the Netherlands to have 2 big talents like Femke Bol and Lieke Klaver at the same time is already like winning the lottery and with Lisanne de Witte (didn't run here) and Eveline Saalberg they have a good team for such a small country. Are you implying that the athletes in this video took performance enhancing drugs? That is quite an accusation that needs more elaboration.

I love Uniqueness & wish to see it to be more common in the future but sadly,
more & more non-European decent athletes are now the ones representing European countries
which is not really the identity of that country they represent😒😟😢no more national pride.

Just put “trans” women on your team and you will win…easily. Trans women are the most talented athletes in the world.
