Good video describing the high points of how the Regen is turned on using the trucks Regen button. It's important to point out that the Truck IS REQUESTING a "Regen is Necessary", on the dashboard by the blinking Regen yellow light. You performed a PARKED REGEN because the truck was signaling it needed one performed by the flashing or blinking Regen Light. THIS IS NOT A FORCED REGEN, when the truck is requesting that it is neccessary to Regen due to Higher Soot Levels in the DPF filters. A so-called FORCED REGEN is when the truck is not flashing the Regen light or a SOLID Regen light on the dashboard. Then, a Computer Scan Tool can read the Soot Level and see that the truck's Soot is low or medium, but the Computer Software CAN do a FORCED Regen to bring the level of Soot to the Low or 0 Soot level.
