What did you think of this gigantic fish?! Ever seen a bigger one?
Looks delicious.
IT'S HUMONGOUS, is all I can say.
Well, tbh, I HAVE seen a fish a lot bigger than this, (not in-person tho) but it doesn't change the fact that this fish is EPIC and the fact on how AWESOME you caught 'em.
It’s very humongous and amazing. I love your videos, keep up Coyote
It was sooooo big
Actually this ginormous sturgeon is actually not delicious old fish do not taste good
As a fisherman myself, I would absolutely love to see more fishing videos in the future. Brilliant video!

I love fishing and hope to see more also.
Me too I love to fish but when they don’t bite I don’t fish
Yes me too
Did anyone ask if you were a fisherman?
Just majestic. A living animal from the periods of time long ago we can’t understand. Thanks for spreading the message of conserving these creatures, and to think that sturgeon has lived as long or longer than many humans do. Incredible.

Whoever is reading this, I wanted to say I hope you have a great day and that God loves you so much that he sent his son, Jesus, to die on a cross for your sins and he rose again from the dead three days later. God Bless! ✝️🙏🏼⛪️
And also, He doesn’t want you to go to Hell but he wants you to go to Heaven with him but you have to be Saved. How do I get Saved you might ask? Here are the steps below on how to get Saved!
1. Confess to Jesus that you are a sinner and ask forgiveness for your sins.
2. Believe that God sent His Son (Jesus) to die on a cross for your sins and that he rose again from the dead 3 days later.
3. Ask Jesus to come into your heart and your life and for him to be your Lord and Savior forever.
4. Build a Personal Relationship with Jesus by Praying and Reading the Bible daily and Live for Him Forever.
I’m Praying for you and you are loved!
Sturgeon are truly massive fish, but not only are they huge but they're some of the few kinds of animals to survive the Cretaceous Paleo-gene Extinction, they have lived for millions of years and will continue to thrive today, but depends if the pollution gets them...
@@thechillspinosaurus7913 and of recent every last sturgeon species is endangered.
Thank you Cyote!
Its like a flashback to one of my all-time favorite series "River Monsters"
Which probably also was an inspiration for the title ;)

I didn't know Coyotes alternate name was Jeremy Wade
i recently caught my first sturgeon here in Manitoba Canada, he was about 2 feet long but its just amazing seeing one, knowing how rare lake sturgeon are here in Manitoba was just incredible.
Catch and release?
@@fallinginthed33p you have to here, they're critically endangered
Interesting how on one side of the mountains they're rare but on the other they're "everywhere". Sturgeon is a popular fish in the Willamette river in Oregon.
Too see this caught through a screen is one thing…… But, I can’t imagine how small and insignificant you must feel being in the water with such a monster!
Yeah I guide for white sturgeon and let’s just say getting hit by it’s tail does not feel good
Agreed

We live in Portland, Oregon and just up from us at the Bonneville Fish Hatchery they have a sturgeon viewing pond. Herman the Sturgeon and several of his friends live there. Herman is over 10 ft, over 500 lbs and over 80 years old. Sturgeon are SO cool!!
Awesome!
Wow, please post a video of it, no fakery please
@@auhsojacosta1672 kinda agree
@@oppositeswitzerland1058 please research, it's found in youtube
There is a hatchery in Bonneville that has sturgeon, and they're massive. I mean it is near the Bonneville dam, and they regulate sturgeon over there as well.
Sturgeon are absolutely incredible. When I was 14, I caught a young lake variety out of a small muddy river in rural Wisconsin. Only a 4 or so pounder, yet easily the coolest and hardest fighting fish size for size that I have ever caught. You handled the rod well, Coyote. Would love to see more fishing, hopefully it can educate and clear it up for those who don't understand it.
My Dad told me he caught some really big ones when he was 14 in the Columbia river in the Dallas Oregon. Can't wait till he takes me.
Awesome video Coyote! You never disappoint when it comes to your adventures! That sturgeon was beautiful in a unique way, and the spots on it were gorgeous! I imagine it was even more spectacular in person! Keep up the great work Brave Wilderness and take care! 😄🐬💙
I love fish, especially big ones, tuna, groupers, sturgeons and many others. such grace and power! I have never eaten underwater creatures and never will!

Can we all take a second to memorize all the adventures that this guy has been through?
He's a true legend.
Sturgeons are really special fish. They are much more common than people think. We even have them in South Carolina, in some of our freshwater rivers where they meet the coast. They are fairly difficult to hook.
Not to hard to hook but hard to land the ones that fight till the end. Crazy how strong they can be.
Fishing can be really fun. The second sturgeon was humongous! It was fun watching Coyote trying to catch the fish, he was so funny!
hi coyote been subscribed for about 6 years now. Big fan.

Loved Coyote making a "Jaws" reference singing the song that Robert Shaw ("Quint") sang in the movie.
So unreal man, I love how much you really care about these old dinosaurs! I love fish as well, I hope to see and hold something this majestic in my life time. It is a dream come true to catch something like this, just too see it's beauty once up close. Anyways keep it real man, Stay Real and Stay Wild 4 life.
Good Catch!
Love the River Monsters referencing. When are you and the legendary Jeremy Wade going on an expedition?
I love sturgeons so much, my grandfather has a small pond with koi carpers in it but they're nowhere near as big as the sturgeon in there. It's slightly bigger than the white sturgeon you caught in the video! When i'm at my grandparents i often go there and lightly tap the side to create waves and the sturgeon always comes up to get hand fed, it's so much fun.

Coyote just singing while his fore arms are screaming🤣🤣

@Don't Read My Profile Photo don’t worry we won’t
Funny how calm he is once back in the water. Fish could've probably dragged both of you clear to Alaska if he wanted to.
This is so cool.. Kudos to who ever involve in conservation for all animals your good deed will ensure our next generation to still able to see these animals... What an absolutely beauty fish!
good to see you back at it i had the pleasure of catching one of these when i was about 16 so over 10 yrs ago now it wasnt as big but to me it was magic!

absolutely gorgeous. i could only hope to see such a majestic fish of that size!! i love catching them in animal crossing too haha
It's been a while since I've watched a Brave Wilderness video. Love this 😊
That mini fish is so pretty the grown-up is developing more and it’s true they are very special
That is like an aquatic dinosaur cross between a shark! So cool!
Its kind of cool seeing this, kind of reminds me of the show river monsters, which was probally on purpose. So now id like to see jeremy wade with coyote
I love that you can hear the guides' accent. It's fairly subtle and I'm used to it (being born and raised here) but you can definitely hear it in contrast to Coyote speaking
Wow, that sturgeon is huge and very heavy to catch!
Where I live in Maine the Kennebec River used to have a lot of sturgeon but due logging and other things they became non existent for a long time. Recently though there has been a resurgence of sturgeon back in the river and it is incredible to see these fish jump out of the water.

@@mariak9085 have you ever see something so prehistoric like a sturgeon?
@@mariak9085 true
I've seen a massive fish being caught on TV once, don't know if it's the same species as this monster but this is one epic catch
If you didn't know but this species he caught is called the white sturgeon which is the largest freshwater fish in north America How do I know this because I live next to the Columbia river the largest river in the pacific northwest and yes it has a very similar fish makeup as the fraser
One of the museums I used to visit had a smaller species of sturgeon in a touch pool for visitors. They were the gentlest fish and actually enjoyed being petted by guests!
