£700+ console in 2024 with pretty visuals which run at 30- fps seems like consoles are seriously struggling to keep up the balance of cost vs technology is way off
COnsoles actauyll way outperform comparable PCs and anyone with the slightest tech knowledge should know that. btw No Mans Sky just got an 8k 30fp patch and yes it works as advertised. or you can choose the new 4k 60fps at higher graphics than the PC version even offers currently. This is just an example. One thing any "gamer" should start to understand its not the hardware that counts. The software and how it uses a platform is what matters. Problem is many bigger companies became lazy and instead of building upon a good foundation, they just expect people to compensate via hardware upgrade. AND GPU manufacturer are riding that wave with max intentions. People somehow started to loose any connection in understanding hardware and software and believe its a 4090 if you want best performance. Of course good hardware will always be a good thing but even on the best hardware you see newest games completely struggle to run due to lazy implementations
One of the best examples of GPU manufacturers was the widespread introduction of raytracing, that allowed to to sell new high end cards like crazy when in reality implementations were shallows at best and you would see similar effects with other techniques that achieved nearly the same visual effects without the hardware requirements.
Hogwarts Legacy is just way to good, It was youre Best Lets Play ever, except mby RDR2. Love youre Content and Im waiting for a new Ep of Empire of Ants 😊
@TmarTn2 Maybe try quality mode with ray tracing, remove the framerate CAP and enable VRR. The game then might run somewhere between 50 FPS and 60 FPS.
Bro people are hating on the system I got mine yesterday had to wait for data transfer I've been playing it all morning wow Just wow if you haven't play it play it before you run your mouth because everything's changed The sound that comes out of my TVs insanely better which is weird I was just playing Gran Turismo 7 and they haven't patched in prographics or whatever it's just running so much better dude You can see further it seems so more realistic the lighting dude the craziest part was that you can actually see the carbon on the car that they drive by and replays looking at the car in the garage like you can see the carbon now which I couldn't before The lighting through the clouds the sounds of the cars like everything is so much better dude so much better so so so so so so much better like I don't think people even realize Even how the car feels I don't have to put as much input into the controller to make things happen and smoothly it's just dude even in menus looks so much better people stop it Go buy the PS5 pro totally worth it is it a little bit too much money I would have been happier at 500 but you got to pay to play and boy am I happy I paid so I could play wow and that's only one game that I've played I haven't tried anything else and just wait until the pro patch comes in for GT7 I can't wait to try Grand theft Auto v see if that's any better I'm sure it will be when you play GT7 look at the carbon on the cars the reflection also look up in the sky look at the clouds the sun it's just there's more depth it's more 3D it's it seems like you're actually there like it's so realistic
You need to play more 😂 check to see if they fixed the detention room doorway glitch and girls bathroom doorway glitch down in the dungeons, there’s an invisible wall stopping you from walking in. Also is the moonstone cave chest glitch fixed?
I think this is the big argument for ppl who don’t want the upgrade. There’s 2 sides to it ik but For me, it’s $1085 CAD with the tax and Ofc no disc drive or stand and I’m someone who wants a disc drive I have my ps5 disc version so $1085+. BO6 multiplayer or a lot of multiplayer games majority of ppl won’t care about graphics and just want 60fps and are very satisfied with that alone. Yes story driven games it’ll make a difference but even then if someone posted PS5 gameplay and titled it “PS5 PRO Gameplay” I wouldn’t be surprised ppl wouldn’t know the difference bc the difference isn’t huge. It’s the small details that have been upgraded. The other side is yes I’ve already seen it on the internet but ppl just say “get ur money up then” but even having the money for it I wouldn’t blame ppl for not throwing their money away for it like ppl did for the base ps5. Wow! The improved textures, lighting and ray tracing make Hogwarts Legacy look so much more realistic! 😮 I don't think you mentioned the lighting on your character's cloak 😲
I guess if you want 60fps, you're still tied to Performance mode.. which looks much better than it did on PS5 (probably similar to Fidelity on base PS5), but.. no ray tracing though :(
Framerate didn't look great, pretty stuttery, was that a capture thing or is that how it was? Doesn't the fidelity mode with RT target 30fps so it's never going to be 60fps
For people who have a ps5 already, this is totally not worth the upgrade. It's not much of a GPU upgrade no matter what Sony is trying to spin. You can def build a PC for 700$ that runs this much better and smoother. Ray tracing is so overrated.
@andrewguy8599 it's just an RX 6800 mate not hard to find cheap, get on the am4 platform it's 700$ easy with a 57/5800x3d. Especially if you shop black Friday or prime deals.
@Day1Gamez bro ,all the shadows an reflections are all in the Origanal, you just didn't change ya graphics in ya first run.. im playimg it at the moment on ps5 an mine look better., peoples TVs will make a difference an phones.
Hey guys I need help with this. So I just got the pro today and I booted up Howard’s and when I go to select which graphics mode I want I only have fidelity, fidelity with ray tracing, and performance. I don’t see the other 2 options.

Actually enabling 120hz (if you have it ) and cap frame rate off you’re actually getting like 50-60 fps with Fidelity + Ray Tracing.

do you have gt7 or f1? both games can run 4k60 fps with ray tracing or even 8k60 fps with ray tracing if you have a very big 8k TV
