    This has always been my hardest thing to control. I have A-sharp tongue and I like to spue at times. I'm working on controlling that and not reacting. I find that when I pause and take a moment. I catch a lot of people off guard because they expect a quick response and I don't give it. Once we learn to control this we can control everything.😊 Stay strong, you got this in persistence and will power and having faith is crucial. God bless everyone and best of luck to you on this life journey.❤💗🙌✨️😊🙏💛

    • @terefefeyssa877
      @terefefeyssa877 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      Mark: If not reacting,is the hardest thing you have ever done. Just observe one thing if you can.
      If every reaction comes from the mind and at the same time the practice of not reacting is done by the mind, it becomes very hard and after short period of time, the mind practice doesn't work anymore.
      Noticing occurs between things that happen and the reaction follows. Noticing occurs between the gap where there is no thinking. When there is a gap between action and reaction, then reaction has no power to arise or at least be minimized without trying hard.

    A wise man said, ‘Leaning to ignore things is the greatest path to inner peace’. Things can be people and situations. Don’t take on problems that aren’t personally yours. We live in an age of too much media. I’m old enough to remember when the local newspaper was our connection to the outside world. Now there’s cameras everywhere fgs! We get to go on police chases and other harrowing journeys that aren’t ours! I stay in my own lane. Mind my biz. Let you be you and me be me. I don’t take on fears that is the sensationalism of journalism in America. I have no fear of death which frees me to live my life peacefully. And staying in the moment. Bc that’s the real time. The past and future are merely memories and anticipation. Give up the need to be right. That also frees up the mind. Ultimately we personally are responsible for our inner workings, not the world

    This hits home. I tend to solve problems by logical analysis. I’m currently in charge of instructing a new colleague with mental disorders who’s always complaining about almost anything. And my manager is always irritated by the pressures from the top management and he demand me to do almost contradictory tasks about my team. Get away!" On one occasion. At first, this was nearly intolerable, but I bought an inflatable bed, kept the lights on in the bedroom and living room (he had been running in and out of his apartment and it took me a while to catch onto the fact that he was checking to see if I had reacted to his noise by turning on the lights) and used earplugs. The disturbances dropped dramatically at that point. This was because he couldnt tell where I was so that he could make noise wherever I was), and I showed no signs of reacting to him and giving him a payoff to his making noise. Aside from getting an inflatable bed, so I could sleep where I saw fit, I think I could be forgiven by describing the situation as having been brought under control by the mere flipping of a light switch at night. And he has no choice but to turn in on himself. The question is whether he will take things to the next level. We'll see as far as that's concerned.

They are the testing ground for us how much we become stable in the midst of chaos. You meet them at the workplace, you meet them at your surroundings, or when you watch TV, you can clearly see how they provoke by feeding negative energy. What you are doing is very wonderful, but always check your inner feelings if there is inner resistance or not. That is our scale all the time.

      Good things, bad things, or neural things. The way we meet them matters in our life. We are the ones of our own makings. I am not saying that we should be indifferent to things. Indifferent is the near enemy of equanimity as the far enemy is reacting to things. You have to explore and experiment. Your Experential knowledge is the only factor here.

    Most of us spend our life searching for our way, looking here and there, but when you start to create the space that you are in, and look at what is now as if it was what you wanted, your space will start to look like the one you want, start treating people how you want them to act, show up for people the way you want them to show up for you, but you have to accept that it’s you who changes first, it’s your thoughts about the things you look at that need to be first and then when those things don’t change right away, you have to keep treating as though it already has. It is the test of strength, willingness and faith that you must get through before seeing things change, as you change the people around you see and feel different, they no longer can react the same way towards you because you have changed, this happens throughout our life’s we treat others accordingly to how the show up, well you can ultimately change who you are and how you show up,
    This is why you find people who say that guy is the meanest person and there is the other person who seen nothing but kindness from that guy. If you expect to see someone show up a certain way, they they normally do, and even more so if you have already witnessed them show up that way, same is true for you, if you previously acted or reacted a way then the person is expecting you to show up the way you always have. Give people a reason to start treating you better, when they don’t recognize the person you are, they have no choice but to treat you as a stranger and adapt to new ways of reacting to you.
    Just like bullies, when ignored they no long get the reactions ( same person) that showed up yesterday..
    If you live like the victim then you will be seen as such, rewrite the story and become the hero of your own life, see how people start treating you when you grab hold of your life and put on a new face of emotions reactions.

      Allowing the people around you to be who they are, and you telling yourself that all insults and things unwanted that happen is the reverse, the insult is a compliment and the unwanted is happening because it’s going to bring more wanted.. change the way you look at what is and is coming expect good things with out expectations of outcome, also your whispers about others is how they show up, be careful what you call this person under your breath, as they will show up as just that.. see and look for the positive changes, notice the good things, little things and show your appreciation towards this person, must be genuine tho, or it will back fire find things to be grateful for and more will show up,
      And if it’s not maybe that’s your sign to move towards what you do want and will make YOU happy.., and this will be the last thing, focus on your happiness, do things that bring you joy, sometimes we just want others to just be happy and that fixes the tension and the stress that might be coming up with daily life..

    Ultimately, the most significant choice we make at any moment of the day, is between unconscious compulsive reaction and conscious creative response.
    The Rhythm of Life is a movement and a rest. The optimum (Heaven), is always found somewhere between the extremes of too much and too little (hell).
    Pleasantness is the Rose found at the Heart of the Optimum.
    Narrow is the Way, and few there are that find it.
    Angels = empowering thoughts/perspectives
    Demons = limiting thoughts/perspectives
    We are Life at large, experiencing itself as all of us simultaneously. Therefore, we are all It, to an unknowable/inexhaustible extent, as the facets of a Diamond are 'both' distinct from each other 'and' the Diamond itself.
    Love is the recognition of our shared Being.
    Be still and silent, and know That which is/That I am = Being aware of being aware.
    Freedom is a Way of Being. Being aware of being aware is unmodulated by the 5 senses, thus unfettered, which is the resonant inner state frequency closest in alignment with the frequency of the all-inclusive Absolute, where all things are possible (Wisdom and Understanding).
    What the living fire of conscious attention dwells on today, we dwell in tomorrow.
    Ask a compelling question as you fall asleep, receive a compelling answer as you wake up.

    I agree with this in many ways and I see a lot of use for this information, but as an additional thought that I use every now and then and not as a constant state of mind. Life is an experience and thoughts and feelings are part of the experience. The state that so many meditators describe is the default state of the soul such a state that we have outside of human life, the experience of the soul itself, then we might as well let go of existence. Experience is why we are here, the lesson we are meant to experience. Instead of "turning off" the experience, we need to learn to live with it, it's good to restart in between, review ourselves, get back in touch with the self and take new directions, find the direction we want for our life and look at this as the miracle that it is.
    It is only the ego that is wounded, it is only the broken expectation that causes disappointment, and prejudice against oneself that creates fear. Let's learn from what we deal with to grow and become stronger as a result.
    I meditate, but on the other hand I let my mind and emotions flow because it is such a challenging experience, to feel the battle within. It is so fun being a living human being, so many different things to do and be, I want to try everything to get the most diverse experience, it gives the deepest understanding and the widest vision. In the end I will move closer to the soul through meditation, when I know that I am close to going back home, home to the world beyond. Well, unless unexpected death sent me there first.
    Live in harmony and peace, especially with yourself, but don't do it at the expense of the experience, because experience is the meaning of life.

Naturally my mind is empty and my heart goes fast but I stay still and remain with absolute calmness with a clear mind ready for action to help anyone in need and so is myself. This video speaks to me so much as sometimes I forget why I feel this way when others around me don’t. I don’t understand why some people gets frustrated when they see just how calm I am in these kind of situations, but I think it’s the reason they feel this way is they are unpowered by the fact that I can deal better than them and/or they also feel jealous that I keep a smiley or serene expression instead of a stress and anger with no control just like them. But these people, I let them be even if I would like them to leave me alone, because now I remember why I do that: I let life taking care of these frustrated people as I have no time to waste my energy for them. My time is precious and I value my energy, kindness and calmness. My mom always said to me: you are great to handle situations with serene and calmness all while being polite and understanding. Thank you so much for helping me remember why I stay on the ground while others don’t.
    I stay like calm water, what others see when they look at the calm lake is only their own reflection as they can’t see what’s in the unpredictable water. If they don’t like what they see when looking at the lake: it’s their own problem not mine.

      Legal drugs will not help you, it will only numb you for a little while, but side effects will give new health problems very soon. Why do you hate yourself? Because you're subconscious/God will give you whatever thought you entertain. We have been mindcontrolled in believing that we are the body and the mind... negative thoughts are never true, lovely thoughts about yourself are the real truth Remember that. A good way to stop hurting yourself is looking at a picture from yourself, as a child. Now would you use abusive condensending language towards this precious child? God/inner child/ subconscious is perfect calm, harmonious, happiness and love, therefore you are love. But if you don't know this, you take in the negative words and believes of the same lost humans, outside of you. They become your innervoice, the tyrant. But you do this to your innerchild.. you can take back control.... Every child would become depressed when continously being verbally abused. That's what is happening. You are abusive against your own innerchild/God. But we have been given free will. Remember God will not condem you,. BUT he will show you exactly what you are doing to yourself. As he is no respector of persons. And creation is finished, the good the bad and the indifferent...all 3 are infinite deep and have infinite of experiences. So as long as you keep telling abusive words to yourself, it will get worse by the day. Listening to songs and mantras to reconnect with your soul essence, will sooth your body mind and soul. Without even knowing why ..Indian mantras are very helpful...Frequency sounds like 963 also. It's not your fault you only needed to be guided back to the truth. I hope this will help you.

      You are not alone. You have the strength within yourself to do this. Forgive yourself, learn to love yourself, and find out who you even are. You are your own best friend. Cherish her! I'm speaking from experience because I was where you are. You deserve love and to be loved.

      @@tinac7084 Thank you very much. I am starting to try everything that will help me to get over this disorder. I started with meditations, even that I was very skeptical about it, I tried the meditation of a doctor, after reading his book. And I wanted to try the psychedelics mushrooms treatment to, but I am afraid to not become addicted to them:( I just want to ask an opinion: do you think that going to group therapy sessions will help? I am just fighting this how much I can, because I really know that if will not become well, I can’t live like this anymore.

    We will not be able to not react to negativity without mastering our ego first. When we have tamed our ego, humility helps us welcome any negative circumstances and even insults from others about us, our loved ones, our beliefs, and everything else we deeply revere and hold dear. Only then will we no longer feel hurt or go into rage.
    With practice, we will slowly but surely tame our ego and begin to understand that there's no longer a need to react to negativity. No longer a need to blame. No longer a need to be defensive. No longer a need to argue or complain. Instead, we will feel compassion for the person who insulted us. We will also have enough compassion for ourselves in not dwelling and suffering from negative emotions.

    Learning how to respond & not to react is a healthy goal. It is human nature to have concerns about any situation that we find ourselves in. The point is how we respond to having concerns. Yes, we cannot control the outcome of any situation. If we do feel worry or anxiety this is human. We can use meditation & practice mindfulness, self-witnessing, etc. to lessen our worries, anxieties & reactivity. We can learn to engage with ourselves & others in a balanced way. This takes time & practice for many of us. We also need to each take responsibility for what part of each dynamic we create. To be part of a dynamic & to withdraw when the other person becomes upset can be a passive-aggressive way of dealing with situations & an example of spiritual-emotional bypassing. Developing a deeper understanding of what is going on with us is key. Also, to have tools that will help us cope with our lives.
