Quite literally a life changing experience. I used to think the peak of gameplay was sin and punishment, the peak of story was super paper mario, and the greatest game was Thousand year door, but this game trumps all of them. It changed the way I look at things and live my life, and thanks for giving it the critique it deserves
I think you really missed out on the best part of the game: you have to actually *play* it! Think of how many games these days don’t want you to play them, like Elden Ring (too hard) or What Remains of Edith Finch (too boring) or Assassin’s Creed Valhalla (too long). AAA game companies HATE when people play their games, so it really shows that they were made different way back when.
You're soooo right The problem is that most games these days aren't made for you to actually play them and RR frankly revolutionized the gaming industry space by forcing you to play the game, often at gunpoint
Great video but I disagree with how the series needed a transition away from platforming. Rayman 3 has some of the most memorable psychedelic setpieces in a game.
Yes, this was an April fools video and yes, a real review will be coming out shortly :)
ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Man, totally forgot about this game, it was really fun to play this on the Wii. Thanks for the content!
No problem! It's the best Rayman game after all

Yeah, those setpieces are probably the best thing about that game
