Considering Rob Parker's background, I just find him to be kind of inarticulate. I think you get into trouble getting into this kind of thing on a sports show. Discuss his play, or if he does something stupid off the field that affects his team. But to get into issues of how black he is, his politics, the race/ethnicity of his fiance, you're asking for trouble. I think ESPN wasn't thrilled with Parker's work, so they used this as the excuse to show him the door.

I think alot of people are still missing the point of what he was trying to say. Yes he failed in his execution of the message, but the point remains there.
