Ryan Clark did an amazing job of communicating his thoughts and perspective of the situation while maintaining his composure. No wonder he’s doing so well in his post career
Bill Bangs The problem is that there is no such thing as sports analyst anymore. The majority of them is just a bunch of ex players who do nothing but talk about their bias and favorites. These shows are simply guys who are allowed to talk for hours about some team or player that they like or dislike. Shannon goes on and on about Lebron and the Lakers and Skip about how much he dislikes Lebron and how much he likes the Cowboys. It is the same with every sports show on now. The only time you come close to it being analyst is during actual games where you have these guys who analyze the during pregame and halftime but it could be better.

Ryan is absolutely correct on this one. In the context of which Ryan was speaking (football talk), I absolutely thought he was talking about giving someone a potential concussion when he used the term "Putting him to sleep". If you hit high you risk giving someone a concussion. If you hit low you risk blowing out a knee. In the context of football talk it made perfect sense. And if there was any confusion on what Ryan meant, Skip & company should habe simply asked or discussed in such a manner. And I dont mean saying "I don't believe he meant to kill someone" towards the very end of the video as Ryan stated. The message was already driven to the audience to downgrade his character.
If you look up the term put him to sleep, it defines placing someone under anesthesia. I think they're all smart enough to decipher what term he meant it in and it's a shame that the media can't admit that
Rob parker and Skip Bayliss can never admit that their wrong rob parker still can't admit Brady is the best qb and Skip saying Lebron James isn't clutch with 4 rings

I'm proud of the way Ryan Clark handled the two story tellers. Ryan told them he was aware that they aren't friends and it's not a big deal but be mature minded when they're talking about a player's character. Skip was quiet b/c he knows who he is; and aware Ryan read his and his sidekick's minds. Great job correcting a Cretin and a sidekick!!!

Nine years later and Skip and Rob could not look worse. I heard Ryan admit that he got the “thug” comment wrong. Skip and Rob apparently didn’t possess the character to do the same. And another thing, “put him to sleep” has to be interpreted in the context in which it’s said. The way Ryan used it meant to knock the person out of the game. Besides that, Ryan said “If I knew I was going to get fined $40,000, I would have earned it.” It’s a useless, heat of the moment statement because most of us know he wouldn’t take an opponent’s knees out or “try” to give an opponent a concussion just so he could “earn” the fine.
Skip is disrespectful anyways like when Bosh ask him to stop being disrespectful. On how he was using his last name. Because he felt it was disrespectful to his parents and grandparents
