      Donovan McNabb went to 5 NFC Championships and 1 SB with far inferior stats to Romo. Maybe other reasons should be looked at for the Cowboys failures instead of the guy that always gave them a chance for a decade.

    You label him a hater but you use that to sidestep his question. Romo off the roster puts the Cowboys in a better position to win than with him hanging around to get hurt again.

    • @Vindicator73
      @Vindicator73 7 ปีที่แล้ว +10

      No, Stephen has complained before, its why he dislikes the Cowboys because of the underserved attention they get and their fans fuel the fire, and ESPN eats it up because of ratings.....that is why Stephen called them on it, would not be surprised though if he doesn't get disciplined or fired because he is right and they know he does it in jest to some degree.

      Romo: 78-48 (61.4%), 65.3% completion, 5.7 TD %, 2.7 int %, 7.9 Y/A, 97.1 passer rating

    • @tomknapp6194
      @tomknapp6194 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually, in many of Romo's "losses", the Cowboys were in a position to win when someone else screwed up. Sometimes Romo had a chance to fix it, but came up short. Yet, all fingers point to Romo. The guy that won 61.4% of his games and Dallas lost 30% of the games in which he was out. With the same team. Lets that sink in.

    Now if people want to state "Its cause Romo did all this while starting off undrafted" thats some BS. Warner was undrafted and started his career with far more disadvantages than Romo. Warner is a SB champ and MVP. He also carried the cardinals to a SB appearance at AGE 37, narrowly losing. The coverage on Romo is GIGANTIC when comparing it to Warner when he retired. Likability far weighing out the realistic stats and accomplishments of Romo which is why i think SAS is so mad, he is right, you can't debate it.

      @tomknapp6194 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have facts that say otherwise:
      McNabb: 98-62-1 (60.8%), 59% completion, 4.4 TD %, 2.2 int %, 6.9 Y/A, 85.6 passer rating
      Romo: 78-48 (61.4%), 65.3% completion, 5.7 TD %, 2.7 int %, 7.9 Y/A, 97.1 passer rating
      Romo actually threw 14 more TDs in 34 fewer games.

    McNabb's NFC title games/SB numbers...
    record 1-5
    comp% 57
    9 td
    9 int
    72.4 rating
    Yet Screamin A. brings him up as if he played outstanding in them or something. He choked and played poorly in most of them AND he had a great defense with him. Had this been Romo SAS would've been all over this but seeing how he's not and it doesn't fit his little shtick he fails to mention this.

    • @OtesTube
      @OtesTube 7 ปีที่แล้ว +68

      funny that you mentioned McNabb's NFC championship/SB numbers. what's Romo's numbers in those games?
      Steven A only brought up McNabb because he played in them not how he played in those games. another thing is that Max and Molly kept bringing it up that oh Romo played for the Cowboys. had he played for anyone else, then this wouldn't be the big story. bottom line is that Tony Romo shouldn't be bigger than North Carolina winning the NCAA basketball title.

    • @eazyduzit-tr3nx
      @eazyduzit-tr3nx 7 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      OtesTube Oh so we're rewarding a guy for making title game/1 SB appearances but has nothing to show for it? You think Bills fans from the 90's are gloating about those appearances? He brought them up as an argument that we should be praising him for it, he didn't mention how he played poorly in it bc it wasn't going to help his argument. That is what that clown does, he avoids any real facts unless it's a guy or a team he dislikes. Had this been Romo he would've been all over that. You realize he's getting this attention bc he's been arguably the most talked about qb for yrs and plays for Dallas who the media always talk about. Blame the media for always mentioning Romo and the Cowboys, that's not his fault.

    • @TheNexler
      @TheNexler 7 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      You are missing the point, Tony Romo retiring shouldn't be big news because he hasn't even had as much success as Donovan Mcnabb. Stephan A is saying Romo shouldn't be big news.

    • @eazyduzit-tr3nx
      @eazyduzit-tr3nx 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      TheNexler That equals "success"? Man please you think if Romo had those numbers Screamin A would've used him as an example? This is my point, and him getting the attention is SAS and the medias fault. The clown ass even tweeted about this, talking about "see you there", acting like he doesn't want to talk about him. Dude is full of it.

    It's not because he was successful that we mourn him leaving, because he wasn't very successful, as stated. It was because he was unsuccessful. We all wished he could have won one championship at least. We feel like he deserved that much since he was so good. But he didn't and that's sad, and that's why we mourn him leaving.

    He actually has a point here. I turned on SC around 7:30 to watch highlights of yesterday's games such as MLB opening day and the NCAA Championship game then around 8 the news broke and that's all they were focusing on. It's the exact same thing they did when Lebron announced he was going back to Cleveland. I understand its a big story but to focus on that over all the other sports is ridiculous.

This man gave his back for his team to the point where he couldn't play golf anymore and people still wonder why romo gets loved? I wish SAS criticized Allen Iverson like that I mean where's his rings? Even though I love iverson.
