I am applying early to yale by any chance can you review my essay? It will be huge help. I have few questions- Can we stay at campus during summer break How long are summer break Can we choose single or shared room are dorms mixed
Unfortunately I cannot review your essay! But I can answer your questions: 1) No, typically you cannot stay on campus during summer break, unless you're taking a Yale summer class. Then, I suppose you'll be assigned a room 2) Summer break is usually between mid-May to mid-August! 3) I think you can choose between having a single or a shared room (which we call a suite), though I would double check online! It's also possible you will be given a single room, but live in a suite with other people (as opposed to living with a roommate). Usually, as a first-year, you'll be assigned suitemates randomly, but you'll be able to choose who you live with after that 4) Suites are usually of the same gender, but you have the option to choose a mixed suite, where you can be placed with people of all genders Hope this helps! :) Good luck with your application
Haha no worries! All rooms have heating, but only some dorm buildings have AC (only the newer residential colleges, Benjamin Franklin and Pauli Murray)
