The Toyota Chaser is a hidden gem of the JDM community, and essentially a 4 door Supra. Today I'm reviewing a 1996 Toyota Mark II Tourer V JZX90 that is highly modified. Then we are going to put this single turbo Toyota Chaser on the dyno to see what it makes for horsepower with its modified single turbo 1JZ engine.

While most people would be happy or are hungrily chomping at the bit to import R32/33s, A JZX90/100 of the right vintage is the car that gets me weak in the nostalgia knees.
Exactly, better platform than the Skyline Imo. Too bad all the social media is ruining the secrecy/under the radar of these awesome cars so people can import and turn them into clapped out drifters, then never properly fix them and the next person ends up buying a POS car. A car which was imported for maybe $10k and they're trying to sell for $20k🤦 The prices have also doubled in the last few years for manual 1J cars.

@@slimsreviews861 absolutely, like most cars, you would need clutch slave cylinder, pedal assembly, hydraulic lines, trans, shifter, k member, clutch/flywheel assembly, maybe a different speedo cable or sensor, correct driveshaft if trans lengths are different. The manual instrument gauge cluster but lots of people just run the auto one. That's pretty much it

this car is discovery for you? Russians drifting shit out of them for 17 years(they started to gain popularity around 2005`s), they importing them to Vladivostok, also swapping 2jzgte`s in to their Volga 3102
people in the middle east love em so much to the point where they import them from japan and left hand swap em just to be able to drive em in their own countries. the car is just perfect in every aspect their is and i love it so much

This has always been 1 of my favorite cars, Even today when I see one I geek out, it can be a bit twitchy even the Slow non turbo ones I've seen a lady spin out a highway driving in the rain at moderate speeds and a Jamaican footballer "Shorty Malcolm " was like in 1, nowadays the Mark X is successor is all the rage, but I love the timeless design of this still looks new to me

Я понял что Марк и все маркообразные - это тяжёлая и старая хуйня! За городом интересно, удобное ехать (крутануть пятака))). В городе где гористый рельеф и плотный поток автомобилей , просто сжигаешь топливо и КПД от авто стремительно падает. Цены на 1jz-gte -заставляют послать все нахуй . Детали найти все сложнее. Привет из России (Дальний восток) город Владивосток .
Их и другие прули сейчас американцы и канадцы вывозят из Японии, и узнают что это такое

на мой взгляд, уж больно переоцененная машина) большая, тяжелая, особо никуда не рулится, но мощная) по уровню комфорта - просто хорошая, комфортная машина, но не могу сказать, что маркообразные как-то особенно комфортны прям, просто нормально и все.
в целом, слишком много хайпа вокруг них, поэтому и стоят они щас конских денег, про джейзеты за 150-200 кусков вообще молчу...
