My advice with this stuff is to find your own water…popular fishing holes are a good place to get an idea of what a particular body of water looks like. But they’re also stacked with anglers and they’re conquered ground. It only took a couple of trips before my brother and I were on top of more salmon than we could ever catch…scouting the first year, catching volumous amounts of salmon by year two. Guides, drift boats and access to private property are all great…but figuring it out on your own is a new level, imo. Just do your research and learn as much as you can before showing up, that’s all.
Anywhere from $60 to 115 depending on the week. They sell out quick. I purchase them month in advance. They also have day passes when available. Good Luck!
Great video! Love the attention to detail. Do you have social media? I wanted to pick you brain. I am also a dad trying to figure out how to best teach my boys to fish. Thx
I turned it off when you mentioned the great lakes go into the salmon river. That is lake Ontario and the river flows INTO the lake from the redfield res.
Yes you are correct. More specifically, this is Lake Ontario part of the Great Lakes. I did correct myself farther along the video that the body of water that the Salmon River feeds to is Lake Ontario. Thanks for catching this and being my very first comment!😅
