With the current COVID travelling rules, once you arrival in the UK, you are required to quarantine for 10 days. There are things to note about this and I have highlighted them in this video.
Also, I have highlighted the things to do during your 10 days quarantine period as an international student because there is no time to check time.

So informative! Thank you for sharing. I wanted to add that you can only come out of quarantine on Day 2 if you were fully vaccinated in the UK, the US of the EU (minus France). Those of us coming from Nigeria/Africa still have to quarantine for the 10days because they are not counting our vaccine program as one of those exempted. You can also come out early by doing the extra Day 5 test-to-release test and getting a negative result. You will still do the day 8 test but at least it means that you can be out by Day 6 or 7 instead of waiting till after Day 10.

Thanks Favor, superb as usual, please I'll like to know how to get accommodation that I'll us for quarantine, also can I quarantine at a friend/family's house?
If you want a temporary accommodation just for the quarantine period, you can book a hotel. That's the most common. But after quarantine, what next?
And yes, you can stay with a family or friend during your quarantine period. They are not stopped from going out, but yiu are not allowed to.

Thanks for sharing. I am currently in quarantine. I have purchased the SIM card, posted my NI application form, opened a bank account, contacted my school about BRP and I am currently waiting for a job interview. What next should I do? Biko upload part 2

How were you able to post your NIN application snd open a bank account without your BRP?
@@IntentionalFavour For my NI, I applied on the Uk government website and I paid for Royal Mail officials (30 pence) to come and pick up the “filled” form and the documents I was asked to mail to them. For the bank, I opened a monzo account (only asked for my passport and a short video to identify myself)and a Barclays student account (vignette, passport data page and proof of address)

@@IntentionalFavour There was an option to upload BRP but I uploaded my visa entry clearance (vignette) instead. I am in a private accommodation. I think NI is just for work right? I don’t know. Maybe that is why I was not asked

How can one order for simcard while in quarantine? And is the simcard and delivery free?

Yes, you can. When you are employed, you'll do shadow shifts and do trainings too. But you have to do well at the interview first, you get?

I'm not sure the recent update, but I think I once heard that they told people they will be notified when it's ready. These things keep changing, so I think you should know what the process is as at when you come in. You usually choose where to pick it from during your visa application and all...

How much is the Covid 19 test and is quarantine paid for ? What other payments are to be made on arrival?
I'm not sure of the amount, but yiu can check online and you book it from your country. No other payment is really required upon arrival.
Quarantine in not paid for, except you are doing it in a hotel.
Where will you be isolated? A hotel? Or there is a certain place people are put in for isolation? Are we to pay for it?
If you ate coming in from a country on the RED list, you'll have to quarantine in a hotel provided by the UK government and it costs a lot. Of course you'll pay for it.
But if coming in from a country that is on the AMBER or GREEN list, you can isolate anywhere. You'll have to sort out your accommodation or where you will stay for the isolation by yourself.
What of if you have a family there in the uk… what are the advantages it entails

You need to see this video where I talked about coming over with your family to the UK as an international student. It doesn't matter whether you are an undergraduate or postgraduate student.
As an international student, you are not eligible for student loan from the UK. Before yiu can be issued a visa, you must have evidenced that you are able to afford your studies and cost of living.

Who pay for the accommodation where the students wait for the quarantine?
The students or UK government?
If you are coming in from or your flight stopped at a country on the red list of UK, you'll have to quarantine in a government provided hotel and will pay the fee. If coming from other countries, you can stay anywhere you want for your isolation. Government dies not provide accommodation for quarantine
@@IntentionalFavour pls are you saying that the government pays for the accomodation if you are coming from a country in UK's red list?
@@chinenyemetu it's the story person that pays. The government only has specific hotels that they MUST quarantine in, but the person will have to pay for it. People from red list countries cannot quarantine at their homes or anywhere else apart from the designated hotels.

Some people however still appreciate the taking of time to explain things too. The balance is making it as short as possible, but that might not be guaranteed for every video.
But believe me when I say I understand and appreciate your point, and I've always tried to consider it.
