If anything its more likely OP was still trying to reach out and get him back, which she admits too, and he had enough. Now OP is truly alone and all I can say is I hope she's a really strong person to stay out the dark place such situations drive many people too

I don't agree with the first part. Honestly, I think OP did everything right. She did everything in her power to protect her, as FAST as possible. After all, OP heard it first from her sister, and kept trying to convince her daughter to clear the air, and OP immediately told her family the full story. She wasn't slow to act at all. Now, of course, sometimes even being 100% perfect in your actions is not enough. OP did everything right, but so did her husband by leaving and not looking back. I cannot blame him for it, he's protecting himself. But it doesn't mean OP is doing something to him.

As much as I feel bad for OP, I feel that it's time she let her ex husband go. If anything, the false accusations made by her daughter towards her husband has not only affected his whole wellbeing but also his mental state and his trust for everyone in her family tree. The amount of times he has received harassments from OP's family because of her daughter's accusations has made him afraid of OP's family, even after OP had defended him but they still continued harassing the ex husband. Who knows if he gets back with OP once more, another false accusation was made and he has to go through another series of harassments from OP's family again? Her daughter is the sole reason that their relationship is now in shambles, and I hope shee gets the karma she deserves. Either there is something very major that OP is leaving out, or the husband is unfairly projecting her family's behavior onto her. I feel bad for both OP and her husband (more for him than for her, but still for both of them). The idea that she would only kick her daughter out in an attempt to get him back is upsetting. If my ADULT daughter made an accusation like that, I would kick her out immediately. If the scenario is what's told in the story, she would have a day or two MAX to fix things (since it wasn't strictly an accusation). I also don't understand why the family is calling the husband a pdffile, since the daughter is literally an adult. Even if the accusations were true, that statement still wouldn't be.
The restraining order bit was kind of silly. Anyone can look up that it's not that easy and fast to get one, especially not if there was no violence involved. The story was pretty engaging but the third update threw logic out the window and made it too obviously fake. I wish Redditors would research legal stuff more before including it in their stories.
