The Dutch robbed of a clear goal. The reply from behind the goal showed Dumfries had 0 impact on the play. The keeper actually made an attempt to save it and only saw Dumfries after that. Honestly shocking
If the keeper wanted to dive he couldnt and he was in his line of sight
@@mohamadlife7322 the keeper could dive, Dumfries was not on the goal line not even close to it, and he wasn't blocking line of sight either he was not in front of the goalkeeper , do you know how angles works?

@@tomatoisnotafruit5670 It's a fair call. Not one I'd make, but if a player is completely impeding a keeper's line (offside) towards the goal, it is fair within the rules to call it off. Doesn't matter if Maignan would've made it or not (he would not have).

Still glad with 0-0, but a shame it was called offside. Arguably do think it was and kind of understandable, but it's really complicated as Dumfries only really moves towards Maignan to probably tap it in after he sees the volley coming back. If he'd been standing there before that attack even started I could understand, but it just seems like the defenders not paying attention to Dumfries too.
If the Dutch finish first and England finish first should England make it to the semifinal the Netherlands would be our most likeliest opponent

We're not gonna finish first. France will likely top the group on goal difference after their game against Poland. I think we will beat Austria by a smaller margin than France will beat Poland by.

And it did impact it. Maignan would not have gotten to the ball, but standing offside next to the keeper when the ball is sent the same way constitutes impeding proper play. The fact that Maignan would not have reached the ball does not matter. I like both teams - the call was fair.
