Installing Ceiling Fans Downstairs | Part 1; Hampton Bay Landmark in Antique Brass

Installing ceiling fans downstairs in the boiler and laundry room, part 1 of many. This time we install a Hampton Bay Landmark ceiling fan from 2005, in antique brass finish with incandescent light bulbs. This was a rather unusual case where the fan was taken care of very well when taken down and shipped. Consequently it arrived in near flawless condition. It's missing a few parts which can easily be replaced. The finish has minimal wear and scratching, and most importantly, the irons didn't get bent at all, leaving the fan in perfect balance.

This the the content I have been waiting for for a while more fan installs and set ups, also I often find metal clad EASRER to work with than romex and lately is been cheaper as well, nicer product and cheaper is rare thing these days

I find it easier to feed and move around, doesn't kink up as much. I have noticed the cheaper prices too, I only paid $65 for the 100' roll used in this film.

I was honestly pretty shocked that the Landmark barley hummed. Considering it’s literally on a beam AND it’s flush mounted. Honestly wouldn’t mind having one. They seem to be decently built.

Nitpicking here, but I'd recommend drilling the holes out in the beams first then screw as it lessens the potential for spitting when the screw enters.
