love that you clean everything before putting it all back together... i get sometimes just have to get it done and may not have the time.... but if have the time... I always clean and paint
Hopefully you see this comment but I just got my 2010 genesis 2.0t !!! And your videos have been a lot of help for my prep with some preventive maintenance I’m going to do on my new car!
When you push back the piston from the caliper I would highly recommend you to open the brake reservoir cap to prevent any damage inside the master cylinder valve
I have Max Advanced Performance slotted and drilled rotors as well for my brembo brakes. A friend of mine actually mentioned that you can buy the black set of rotors they have and that the black part of the rotor actually just wears off to the silver look during braking! But you won’t have to worry about painting the hub part, because it’s already painted. I think with my next replacement set of rotors, I’ll try getting the black ones and test it out for myself! Good video man 👍
@@neoncruz19still using the Max Advanced with many hard track days and they’re holding up great. I’d probably get another set or even StopTech for a mix of street/track days whenever it’s time to replace.
Great video bro but I had the same problem I stripped the little screw on the rotor and you started drilling into it . How thick is the bit to clear it out ?
When I’m putting in my vehicle description on the website it gives me option “Brembo brakes” and “Exc Brembo brakes” im assuming exc means non Brembo? Please correct me if I’m wrong
I have an isr racing exhaust on my 2012 Genny coupe and I have it tuned and it sounds awesome id recommend it! Get a good tune she will sound amazing especially down shifting

I never had that problem when I removed the bolts on the brake pad mount. The came out easily.
Nice job you saved a ton of money!

Lol I had to drill the 2 screws on each of my OEM rotors. Pretty sure it was the first time the rotors were changed.

Torqe 70?
Loosen the lug nuts before you lift.
Yes. Definitely makes it a lot easier to take them off. Then when the car is up all you have to do is loosen them off the rest of the way!
Kindly reply the email, lost contact with you! Thanks!
