I’m aware that the stand included with the PS5 can be used horizontally! I tried it use it but the PS5 didn’t seem to lay flat and it wasn’t very sturdy. The 3-D printed stands are much better.

I'm right there with you! I'm primarily on PC, but I finally bit the bullet and bought the digital edition of the PS5 last week. Ghost of Tsushima was part of the PS plus premium subscription, and I just finished the main story. It's not a perfect game, but it's up there with one of the best single-player games I have ever played. Have fun gaming! 👍

I recommend "Resolution mode in the settings. Games: Ghost of Tsushima PS5 Director's Cut. Spider-Man Remastered. Ratchet&Clank. Sleeping Dogs. Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Gran Turismo 7. Constantly tap the brake when turning. God of War3 and the the 2018 version in the game settings for 60fps. . . . Cool you some of these amazing games. Great video 👍

I quite literally got mine for Spiderman 2. My ps4 died just before the ps5 launch and I've definitely missed having a console in my room again. It's crazy jumping into a new generation and I'm excited to catch up on lost time. 🎉

You don't need aftermarket stands, it can be set up horizontally with the included stand. Check out the manual.

Thank you! I’m aware that the stand included with the PS5 works horizontally, I tried it and didn’t love how it worked so I got the 3-D printed ones and they’re much better.
This was a fun watch. I'm still running a PS4 slim here as of October 2023 and was hoping for a PS5 slim this year but having my doubts it will happen. Glad you are enjoying your new console however! One game I'd like to check out if or when I get a PS5 is Returnal.

I’ve been checking it to see if it’s getting hot after a long session but so far it’s staying cool. The cabinet is open in the back.

I finished replaying the Spider-Man games on pc and I love those games. Spider-Man 2 came out and don’t think I can wait till comes to pc, plus there’s other exclusive games I want to play. Not sure if it’s really worth though?

If you’re a fan of any fighting games, I would definitely recommend streetfighter 6 and Mortal Kombat 1 and if u like Final Fantasy, I would recommend FF 7 remake and the sequel to it. FF7 Rebirth is coming out next year in February i’m definitely getting that game.
I recommend the PSVR2 as well. Specially GT7 feels sooo good and there are a lot of awesome games which are really not possible on a 2D screen. Recommondations:

just got mine 3 days ago and then the price drops a day or two later.
You should play mortal kombat 1, Calisto protocol, Street fighter 6, Tekken 8.

I also got one now the controller is so cool , I would say the price to performance is amazing as someone who has been coming from PC backgrounds,I had PS4 earlier the new controller is amazing although the PS4 one was awesome too , it felt lighter

The Spider-Man version is super cool. I’ve been considering buying just the controller but if you’re a big Spider-Man fan, like I am, you should totally go for it.
I’ve always gamed on the playstation, I own a ps2, ps3 and ps4 I didn’t want to get Ps5 straight away for two reasons 1) I had too many games on PS3 and ps4 that I had to get through first and 2) I wanted to wait for more titles to be released on the Ps5 but now it’s that time (ufc 5) I’m finally levelling up I’m gonna get me a disc version ps5 next month 😃 btw can the ps5 play ps2 and ps3 games?
The PS5 doesn’t play PS2 or PS3 games but it does play PS4 games and they run great on the PS5. I was hesitant for a while but it’s definitely worth upgrading. Nice man! I’ve been having a ps5 since February of this year. I love it so much. I got it because. My ps4 broke, there were great games coming out and because the place I got it from only had a few left. Im so excited to play Spider man 2! Looking forward to playing it. Right now I have been grinding final fantasy 16 and it is amazing. I would recommend it. So much fun. I never really liked fantasy games with rpg elements in them but when I played final fantasy 16, of changed my mind. Im Also really looking forward to playing Atlas fallen and Assassins creed Mirage! Those are my most anticipated games of this year. Im really glad your enjoying your ps5. I know I sure was when I first got it.
Edit: Super Sorry for the long comment but some games I would recommend Are Definitely Ghost of Tsushima, It is graphically beautiful it is outstanding. Another game I would recommend is Assassins Creed Valhalla. If you love open world games . Then you will love Valhalla. It is A Viking game set in Norway for some of the game then England. It is a little king though. Took me 90 hours to finish. But Graphically, it is Absolutely beautiful.
Ghost of Tsushima looks incredible I can’t wait to play that one. I haven’t played an Assassins Creed game in a long time but I’ll definitely check out Valhalla. Thanks for commenting and thanks for the recommendations!

i don’t have any reccomendatuins as i don’t have my ps5 yet (i’m getting one for for christmas!) but i am curious why you bought cheap stands for horizontal play and didn’t just use the included one?
I left it out of the video but I didn’t love the stand that came with it. When you use it horizontally it’s kind of wobbly. It’s not secured to the console at all. So for a little extra money the stands I bought work a lot better. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel! I hope you enjoy your PS5.

Still using a PS4 (2013), will upgrade to the PS5 when the slim is released as waited this long so would be frustrating to buy it and it immediately be replaced with a newer model. Want it so i can play some of the more modern games which now (Finally) are only out on PS5 to take advantage of the extra power.
I was considering waiting a little longer for the next model but I’m not someone who NEEDS the best graphic and newest hardware. The PS5 was impress enough as it is. But I understand not wanting to spend that much money and something that’ll be outdated in a few months. Spider-Man 2 is going to be great and Ratchet and Clank was the best PS5 exclusive I’ve played so far.

@@bigbrrrrrrrrr Similar boat, i have a PC as well but i am odd in that i like physical copies of games and everything on PC is digital. Some games i prefer on PC and others i prefer for console.
Just got the PS5 a few days ago, been loving Spider-Man: Miles Morales
I’m glad I waited. I got my PS5 2 months ago. I bought Returnal for £20 instead of £70😂, I bought Control ultimate edition for £18, I bought NBA 2K 23 Jordan edition for £11, Watch dogs Legion for £12 and Life is strange true colours for £10, all in great condition and I get to play Returnal with the save game suspension feature. I had the opportunity to get Ragnorok back in November brand new for around £30 but kept procrastinating until the price shot back up.
The main reason I got the ps5 when I chose to get it was because I wanted to get it before the slim replaced the standard model completely. I’m not a fan of the slim in general, especially its removable disc drive that has to be registered with Sony’s servers. Initially I was going to just wait for the ps5 pro but if the slim has DRM the ps5 pro will definitely have it. If that is the case my ps5 may be the last console I purchase. DRM….not a fan.
Should i get the ps5 rn? (currently $50 off the console and controllers) or wait till Black Friday or something to see if it will be a cheaper price then it is rn, or wait til a slim or pro comes out? I CAN'T DECIDE!! 😂
I would just get one now that’s it’s a little cheaper. I can’t see the next model being much cheaper or much better than the current console.
I’m still waiting because of the whole scaplers for 3 years.But the main reason is that my ps4 work fine so I didn’t so I didn’t take the shot and where I was it was almost $1,000 but now I’m going to get it

I would get a PS5, I play on pc.. BUT my hands are high mileage from 8yrs of football and I don't like the PS4 or PS5 controllers, my hands start to hurt a lot quicker on then than with an Xbox controller.
You realise that the normal stand also works as a vertical and horizontal position, right?
This is the comment I can here looking for. 😂 I thought I was the only one who noticed that he didn't use the included stand to position it horizontally.
I tried stand it came with horizontally when I first set it up but it wasn’t sturdy and didn’t seem to sit completely flat. I meant to mention that in the video but I missed it. It could totally be my fault for not installing it correctly but I wasn’t a fan of the stand it came with.

Can you recommend me a good tv to play ps5 ?
I have a 65 inch Samsung 4K TV. It’s a few years old at this point but it looks incredible with the PS5. I know 8K TVs are available but they’re really expensive. I think any new 4K TV would work great especially if it has a gaming mode built in (usually in the setting) gaming mode helps get the best visual the PS5 can produce.

I’ve heard there’s either a pro or a slim coming soon but I couldn’t wait any longer. And if it is a pro model rather than a slim I don’t see the need for anything more powerful than this.

Got my PS5 for 160$. Not a chance would I pay for more than 200$ for this thing when I already game on Steam Deck, Xbox and Nintendo more than my PS4 already and got my PS4 for free.

It wasn't even available until this year 2023, and they added free games. Do avoid the slim models until they have free games, and the digital model is as useless as the xbox series x or series s carbon black.
I agree. I think this slim model is not great. My next video will be about that. I just don’t understand what Sony is thinking with this slim model. It’s not an upgrade in any way but storage and it’s not exactly slim.
@danal0gue yeah they suck at marketing, especially since the ps plus price hike and they couldn't even bundle vr with slim for $1000. Maybe second hand market may sell for cheap like $360 psvr2.

I feel the same way. At first I was hesitant in buying PS5 since its double the price of a PS4 unit. But when I finally buy one, the moment I started playing it, I knew I was wrong. Its way better than I can imagine and its worth every penny you paid.

Spiderman & Miles Morales campaign stories are phenomenal. However I would be happier if they just had the story and nothing else because the rest of it was boring AF. The crimes & bases are just repeated to the point of nauseum which only leaves the collectibles left. I'm glad they put them on the map but collecting them was also boring AF. That platinum made me want to eat my own head. I gave up on the Miles M platinum because the 100x combo is ridiculous when it clears after 2 seconds of not kicking enemies. They made this a trophy so I gave up after the story.
“Made me want to eat my own head” was absolutely hilarious. I totally get it. It gets old after a while. When I got my platinum I would put it down for a few days and come back to it when I felt like running around searching for crimes and stuff. I’m almost at the point with Miles Morales but I still have some of the story to get though so my plan it to complete a bunch of side stuff while I’m still playing the campaign so I’m not just grinding once the story is done. I still have a reason to boot up the game if I have some of the story to complete
@@danal0gue I love the story in both Miles and Spider-man. It's the afterplay content that really lets them down although I cannot speak for Miles on that because I gave up after the story due to 100x combo being ridiculous. If I wasn't getting platinum then there was no point in me doing boring grinding just for everything else except one trophy. If I wasn't getting the plat I don't want it on my list so I did the story and re-initialised my Playstation clearing all trophies. That can only be achieved if you unplug your console from the net before playing (or earning 1 trophy... because if it syncs it's there till the end of time). I wish they'd let us delete trophies if they are not full games. We have no control over them - cannot disable them or delete them.
If you play on pc and have a ps4 pro. You probably will returned in a week just like me😅.

There are barely any games running in actual 4K on PS5, for a potential Pro to run them in 8K they'd have to be upscaled to oblivion...

Bro the fact you said that the PS4 was strong enough means that you really dont know the meaning of strength :D, because the most fps you can get there especially heavy graphics games is 30 fps (except for some low graphics games of course), PS5 is far better and can reach 60 fps in most games with high quality resolution (NOT ALL!, there are some you must choose to lower graphics quality to play high fps, BUT PC is far more better lol, I am a PC user, I have a 3090, I can run everything high qulity 60 fps plus GPU prices are down so PCs are much cheaper now.
