I love mine as well. Just resurrected my Terramite after a year of sitting due to health issues. But now I have a power steering issue and can't find any references ,etc. to fix it. Any ideas or links i can try? Loved your video.
Thank you for watching and commenting! I don’t really have any repair references for the power steering. I’ve kinda seen that is an issue with these though. I read a post that said it could be something in the transmission but I couldn’t really say for certain. Good luck, have a great day and stay safe! ❤️
Thanks for watching and your comment. The hydraulic tank uses 30 weight motor oil. Always check fluid levels before use. This one is an old rental machine and will leak down quite a bit between uses. Have a great day and be safe!
All I can say is good luck finding replacement parts for these and the front spindles are known for bending and the wheel bearings is almost impossible to get now.
Thanks for watching and your comment. All of our equipment is old but still useful, we baby it all because we couldn’t really afford to replace it. I did get front wheel bearings at NAPA just last year. Nothing we own other than the mini excavator would be anything someone could make money with as a contractor but as homestead use it’s perfect. In that role I’m actually finding that tinkering with them is half the fun. Have a great day and be safe!
@@CopperBarnHomestead they are decent little machines when they are working properly, I ran one every day for years, and it'll beat you up a little on the ride, very bumpy though. But overall for what it is, I'd say it's a 8 out 10 machine, it gets the job done, also not the quickest machine.
Hey, thanks for watching and your comment. I haven’t had any issues but definitely appreciate the tip and will switch to 15w40. Appreciate you taking the time to save me having an issue. Have a great day and be safe ❤️
Thanks for watching and for your comments. Right now I am keeping it. It has been invaluable building our barndominium. I do have another machine but sometimes the Terramite is the perfect tool for the job. ❤️
@@derricksmiley8293 I just took the old one to Napa and they matched it up with one they had in stock. Hope this helps! Have a great day and be safe! ❤️

Do not let the hydro oil get as low as he had you can ruin your hydro pumps

These tractors were made in the town I’m from they came to our work where we have these and emphasized on not using the hydraulic fluid in them.
That's a nice tractor, I've only seen one in person I would like to own one.
Thanks for watching and commenting! Yes we are very fortunate to have it! Have a great day and be safe!
Would you like to sell that Terramite?
