That's a really good idea instead of ruining a wall with double sided tape by installing the mirros directly on to the wall one can make this and just hang it up on a nail.
Hi, love this diy!! How much does the mirror weigh please? I would like to make it but would need to use command strips / anything other than drilling into the wall to hang it up x
Hello thank you for sharing with us ! I am going to make it , however I can’t find any video on your account where we could hang the mirroir on the wall ! Are you able to help or guide me ? Xx thanks so much x
That varies. There are light weight MDF boards including battens, i.e you can opt for plastic to reduce the mass and simply paint over with your desired paint. I will say this, the mirrors alone are quite heavy which in turn could cause the board to collapse - that is assuming there is no back support/inappropriate wall fixings to a large-extra large mirror. It requires a bit of research but the physics should be simple.
You have written 92 Cm at 1.38 mins and then you say it’s 125 x 94 (height and length) I literally bought the wrong measurements cause of this... can you explain and also correct?
@@jannasilverstrand5175 hi, sorry you found it confusing, however it clearly states that the measurement for the mdf should be 125cm x 94cm and then the 92cm written is for the batten lengths.
@@annalouisaathome2284 Ok, this got a bit confusing as the video needs to be paused every 3 seconds to follow the measurements. Maybe you could post all the measurements in the descriptions so there arent any room for errors?
What do you think? Let me know in the comments below! x
What size is your mdf sheet? Away to do the exact same hope it looks like yours!
Where did you get your wooden battens?
Love it!

Many thanks !
It's look amazing 👏 😍, now I am wonder where to get the mdf base🤔

This is really good!! How thick is your MDF sheet?
Thank you 😊 it's 12mm x
Omg love it. Im gonna do it ♥️
let me know how you get on! :) xx
Great video ! Do you have to cut the battens yourselves or can they be cut at the hardware store? Also, what glue did you use?
Hi, we had ours cut for us. Saved a job! It only cost £5! And the glue is just a standard wood glue 😊
@@annalouisaathome2284 thanks !
Hi, where did you get the battens from and how much did they cost? Did you have to pay extra to have them cut? Thanks
Hi. What if i want to remove the mirror. Is it possible? If yes do u know how?. Please share. Thanks
Great job very helpful. Do you think it's to heavy to be hung on the wall ? I'm planning to make one for my kitchen wall .

Which glue u used please let me know
What thickness mdf did you use please?
What thickness was your mdf board? ☺️
Hi, it was 12mm 😊
What is the depth of the plywood sheet and the battens?
Creative 💯💯
Thank you so much :)
what is the thickness of the mdf board?
How think was the mdf?
Hello what thicknes where the battens? i love to make this to
Hi they were 1cm thick x
Would you reccomend priming the mdf? It's hidden behind the mirrors and wood so is it needed? X
We did it just incase there was a slight gap x
Nice Creativity 👍
Thanks a lot 😊
Did you get the mdf measured and cut for you beforehand??
Hi, yes we worked out the measurements and they cut it for us at Homebase 😊
Which color you have used on the plyboard
Hi, it’s just brilliant white wood paint
love this idea!!!! but im finding it hard to find the battens :(
Oh no, it's going to be difficult until all the hardware stores open again. Hopefully it won't be long x
Nice video 👍 your friend here from Philippines watching tnx 🙏 see you
What thickness mdf?
I love this! Is it possible to give a bit more detail about filling in any gaps? How do you do it?
I was just thinking that, have u found out at all? would it be the same filler like in panelling do i think?
Just use caulk
How can you attach this to a wall?
What thickness of wooden batten?
The wooden battens were all 1cm thick 😊
I love diy....
Me too, nothing better than creating something from nothing 😊
What thickness mdf did u use?
You'll need to use 12mm thick MDF so when it comes to screwing the brackets on the back to hang you don't go through the front of the mirror
@@annalouisaathome2284 HI Anna, what kind of brackets did you use to hang to the wall?
@@vikde3339 Hi, I used flat brackets. In my dining room update video I show you the brackets if you want to see them 😊
Please make more diys
I have another one coming on Sunday :)
What type of glue is this?
It's wood interior glue. No more nails would be good too :)
What glue was that pls?
Hi, it is wood adhesive for interiors by Evo-Stik 😊
very nice

Thank you :)

Literally so annoying, you just know you made a mistake too if you followed your own measurements as there are 2 different for height
