i have had mine since i was a kid. only thing i had to do is replace the antenna the 2 woofers contact clean the control panel buttons and replace the neon back light for the lcd. she's still kicking nice n strong
@@Werewolfmage I've had a few boombox cassette decks fail over the years , Panasonic , Hitachi, JVC etc and it's always been the band's connecting the motor to the tape winding spool that have stretched out of shape so that the tape either won't play or the speed is slow and variable . Have you ever had that problem with this model ?

@@johnjaleco5683 yup I serviced it a few years ago and cleaned the buttons with contact cleaner etc

@@johnjaleco5683 nope! I had that issue with my old jvc deck. I replaced the belts and adjusted the speed and it was back to normal
