I'll be honest, I've never been a fan of mid-cut football boots in the sub $100 price category. Why? Well, there's definitely a demand for them, but they tend to take advantage of consumers who don't know any better. Yes you're getting a mid-cut boot at a lower price, but the quality is almost never there for what you pay, the look tends to be horrendous and more often than not, the fit is worse! Surely these big brands are capable of making something better?
In today's video we take a closer look at the new Nike Mercurial Superfly 10 Academy, the $95 takedown version of the Superfly that I'd argue is the best sub $100 mid-cut football boot ever! We discuss what makes them so good, how they compare to last year's Superfly 9 they replace and where there are still some downsides to a mid-cut design at this price point.

@@bornaivanovic6804that’s cap. Both are good takedown models but it depends what you want. If you want a higher quality take down model that’s lighter, then get the F50 league. But, if you want a sock collar Football boot that is a take down model, then you should get the super fly 10 academy. It really depends what you really want.

Which boots on the market are the closest to that synthetic? Leaning toward the new Puma Ultra Ultimate or the Mizuno Alpha Elites currently
Ultra 5 Ultimate would definitely be the closest. Alphas would also be a great choice, although the upper is more pliable and generally less plasticy in feel compared to a Vapor 10

They’ve been out for 2 weeks. Given that there really isn’t anything out of the ordinary as far as materials go, all being stuff we’ve seen from them in the past, I wouldn’t expect there to be any issues with these in the short term
